@TheMarsPirate I haven't used this clay yet, but if you are looking for a matt / stronger hold than fiber then you probably want clay

@TheMarsPirate You should try the LS&B Ruck Matte Putty. It washes out easy and gived a decent hold without shine, similar to the fiber in this vid. I've been using it for years

If you have problems with it beign too sticky to apply to dry hair, just take a hairdryer and warm it up a bit.

Hey willie, whats a good product for a good hold but no flake. I have a fo-hawk and I have a problem with it flaking. I tried Fiber but it wouldnt hold that strong but it didn't flake. My other gel holds great but it flakes. I need something in between. Any ideas? Am i applying the fiber wrong?

@christianbaclao You are probably applying too much, try using a bit of hairspray (you need the perfect balance of hairspray and fiber in order for it to stay up.) the fiber is only to create texture..

@bebe13junior I prefer American crew more just because I really enjoy the smell. As for hold and matt American is much better, I find that Got2b inplay has a lot of shine (maybe too much shine) really up to you if you want shine or not..

@guyinhoodie Purple gatsby should be good for you, your hair should look nice if you brush your hair and spike it to one side, if you want something more crazy you could probably spike it all up or in different directions really up to you

you should spread it on your fingers, and not your palm as you have more control with where you apply it. putting it on your palm puts too much in one place.
