I really enjoyed walking in the bit of the Basque country in France.... something special in the atmosphere. I stayed at Cambarrat where Isabelle was designing Basque fabrics. I often wondered when I saw the shops in SJPP with their beautiful Basque linen, whether some of it was to her designs...
The first ten days out of Le Puy to Conques was my favourite bit of the whole walk... quite stunning scenery.... and with slippery conditions, the terrain was quite challenging in places as well.
I've attached a copy of my Camino video of this past April and May from Sauveterre de Bearn to Santiago.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos. I'm planning to walk the Le Puy route as my next Camino.

The first ten days out of Le Puy had some really stunning scenery. And the town of Conques was a very special place. So many memories!
