I know how your feeling keep strong Both my babies were 17 and 21 days late and both came when they were ready without inducement. Both were healthy I did have checks every 2 days at hospital I was lucky to have a hospital that supported my decision to avoid induction till the very last minute and was lucky to avoid C/sections Most hospitals in Sydney only allow 12 days over due before inducing My daughter is 37wks and worried she will be forced into induction when she knows it's not necessary
wow I wish I could go that long...midwives here are only allowed to go to 42 weeks and then it is against the law. Drs here only go to 41 weeks maybe 10 days and that is it before they induce!!
my daughter was also 21 days late, with a midwife who supported the decision. I was glad I didn't have her in hospital cause she would have been induced :(
Wow, you really are trying everything! No one will ever say you didn't do your best, no matter what ends up happening. I was wondering how using the breast pump might affect your breastfeeding after the birth...is there any way your baby might not get the initial 2 days of colostrum because you used the pump before the birth? I'm over 40 weeks now myself and who knows, I might be trying some of these things in a couple of weeks if he's still not here. Have you tried acupuncture?
yes I have tried acupuncture, last night and tonight. It starts some contractions so that is good. And no your baby will still get colostrum...I was worried about that too but your body makes more until you have the baby!!
Glad to hear that the results are all good and that she's healthy and comfy inside you. Your womb is just too comfy for her to leave. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! You're pretty amazing being so positive and calm about it! Its encouraging for me as I'm waiting too =D. Good luck hun!
I know it sucks that I dont have a middle ground like most. I cant just try the hospital vaginally before a c-section but they wont do it!! Like I told my mom its not like going from plan A to B to C to D its either plan A or D for me!!!
I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS ... (oops caps sorry... ) for a long time now. You are doing so well keeping cool through all of this. I hope everything works out the way that you it to... I really hope you don't get pushed to "unassisted" childbirth...
