i need help, i just got through stomach flu and i vomited a few times , i've been eating congee for a week, now i'm back to regular foods (starting tomorrow) what should i eat ?

@DGregster YouTube, you asked what I do to gain weight, and I use my iPhone. If you have a smart phone or iPod, check out this app called MyFitnessPal. I enter the food I eat each day and it keeps my progress very organized. It tells you how many calories you have left to meet your goal for the day and so I just try to stuff in as much food as possible. I don't go to the gym regularly because I'm so caught up in school, but when I have the chance I do push ups and lift weights. Good Luck!

If you can only workout for 60min at a time, does this also mean only 60min a day? Could I do one 60min workout, break for 2/3 hours, then another one?

@Clyd3able i am not positive but i think it means if you lift a wight 30 times.. then reps is how manny times you lift it 30 times . like one reputition of 30..take a small break the anothr set of 30, 6-10 times over ... someone correst me if im wrong so we all can mak some major gain :P
@Clyd3able rep range is the amount of reps you can do... the range he talks about is 2-4 so the reps would be anywhere between 2 to 4..(range)...really haven't you and 8 other people gone school? seriously i knew what range meant when i was like 10.

If you're skinny, DON'T take any extra nutrition drinks of any sort. Just make sure you eat right. Good food rich on proteins is everything you need. Also, stay away from carbs. You don't need that. Those protein and nutrition drinks can damage your liver as it can have difficulties dealing with the stuff that the drinks are made up of.

@MrJoffe95 you might be counting calories incorrectly. that or you're doing it with a high fat % instead of with protein and carbs, if ur in excess with fats you'll just pass it through your system.

@jcw3032 Yeah man. If you have a droid there is an ap called "calorie counter" that has a database of every food and you can log your calories you eat per day. These are also online i think but i like having it on my phone since i can just log it as soon as i eat. I just started doing it. Im 22 and weigh 128. I'm 5'7. Weight gain is slow so you have to be consistent and make sure to eat your goal calories every day or else its pointless. healthy weight gain is only 2-4 pounds a month.

@Clyd3able 2-4 times you lift a heavy weight, so your arm moves down and up 2-4 times. Same with 6-10, but obviously slightly lighter weights

@Clyd3able What he means is when doing the 2-4 Rep range use a heavier weigh for example 20kg and you lift the weight 2-4 times..
Then when doing the 6-10 rep range you'll drop the weight down (lets say 15kg) then you lift the weight 6-10 times.

@Clyd3able rep range is the amount of reps you can do... the range he talks about is 2-4 so the reps would be anywhere between 2 to 4..(range)...really haven't you and 8 other people gone school? seriously i knew what range meant when i was like 10.

If you're skinny, DON'T take any extra nutrition drinks of any sort. Just make sure you eat right. Good food rich on proteins is everything you need. Also, stay away from carbs. You don't need that. Those protein and nutrition drinks can damage your liver as it can have difficulties dealing with the stuff that the drinks are made up of.

i weigh 156 pounds and i have eaten between 5-7000 kalories a day for four months, i stille dont gain weight.. i train every day and eat before after each workout ane everything, i dont know what else to do. i need to gain just 10 pounds more to fill out my weightclass, or i wont qualify for european champinship.. please help, what else can i do

@MrJoffe95 you might be counting calories incorrectly. that or you're doing it with a high fat % instead of with protein and carbs, if ur in excess with fats you'll just pass it through your system.

@jdbdakdak neither... i count em right, that i'm sure of, my fat intake is higher than normal people because i always add more fat to what i eat of course its the good fats i use, oil when i eat eggs or butter when i do eat bread etc.. i went to a nutrition expert with this problem once he didn't know what to do, cause hell i'm not going to eat more than now, thats impossible for me

with 2 weight gain shakes a day 1 (before) 1 (after workout) 2 different types I usually gain pretty damn fast if I workout everyday so I make schedules of which wotkouts I do each day of each week 2 rest days separated throughout each week... im 13 5"9" 125 just started a week and a half ago gained 3~4 pounds I believe.. This wouldn't really help me. so saying "you will gain weight, period." is kind of false. I am a student who eats A LOT but am skinny and have a racing metabolism. I also play basketball 3x weekly and do a training program.. so what are my options if I don't want to stop playing ball? eat every 20 minutes?

What if you're like overweight and that is multiplied by 20? Wouldn't that be unhealthy? Because if someone were underweight, the calories would be less than someone who is overweight.

@jcw3032 Yeah man. If you have a droid there is an ap called "calorie counter" that has a database of every food and you can log your calories you eat per day. These are also online i think but i like having it on my phone since i can just log it as soon as i eat. I just started doing it. Im 22 and weigh 128. I'm 5'7. Weight gain is slow so you have to be consistent and make sure to eat your goal calories every day or else its pointless. healthy weight gain is only 2-4 pounds a month.
