WOW...this guy is able to judge people hearts.. and judge the "heart of liberalism".. liberalism is PEOPLE... GOD loves them all.. when Reagan got elected there were religous nuts who claimed he was the anti-christ cause he had six letters in each of his names... love for GOD is shown by love for people... if you don't love you are missing the mark..
@OncealwaysaMarine When a person capitalizes the word "truth" other than the beginning of a sentence, they actually mean "My particular favorite unsupported legends, myths, or conspiracy theory." I am godless, but I prefer the term Godfree, sort of like "delusion free" or "disease free"
um Liberalism was founded in the 1840s and 50s as a response to the lack of worker's rights and social equality in the monarchial system of Europe as the population of Europe was exploding into mass society of the 1890s, but the traditional powers that be would not budge for reform like Great Britain did in 1846. Conservatism and Liberalism are modes of change always have been, always will be. Secularism is not a correlary to anti religion dumbass; its a separation not an outright dismissal.
@DouglasF23 Then you can rot in a very soulless place, with nothing and your entire existence here will have not mattered because you don't exist in the first place. This place is much worse than Hell because at least in hell, you have a place to rot for eternity.
@Nationofhonor I do exist. You are responding to words I wrote. So, in actuality you agree I exist, or else you wouldn't be reading these words. Now you seem to be interested in me "rotting," that, of course, happens to all of us after we die. You say I can rot in a" very soulless place" that is the universe, as souls are the stuff of farie tales as well. You state the real world is worse than your farie tale realm of torment. Why is that?
@DouglasF23 What i'm saying is, after you die you will cease to exist and nothing at matters after your death, you have been wiped from the universe and over time, no living person will remember you because all that is left is a decomposed carcass of bones. you are now worthless and since there is no God (who created morality) you may as well go on a killing spree. Tell me, out of all life, why were we burdened with emotions and morals?
@Nationofhonor First you state there is a god, then you say there is no god, then you state this god character created morals(which exist independent of any god) could you keep your story straight?
Oh and since I can remember deceased people, how is it that somehow I am exempt from the memory? Your statement make no logical sense. That are just random stabs at insults at attempt to make one stick.
@2010GOP Just keep in mind that my intentions weren't merely to defend Barack Obama and my Democratic Party, like you fought so hard to defend George Bush and your Republican Party. I believe that if Obama and the Democrats did more of what they said they would do, the country would be in much better shape. But unfortunately, they compromised everything. I hold them responsible for that, greatly.
Your blind party loyalty has failed you once again.
Seperation of church and state. That IS our country....not the combination of the two. Missouri...what a bunch of fucking whacked out bible beaters...I guess. Conservatives hate god too....so what? They are both the same...and the only one laughing is god....oh wait..he does'nt exist. My bad.
John Jay, Founding Father & 1st Chief Supreme Court Justice of the United States:
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers".
“It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ" - Patrick Henry
@2010GOP Great quotes.....good sentiment. Appreciate your civility after my initial comment. Unfortunately it changes nothing. This is not a christian nation....never has been, never will be. Not that that is a good or a bad thing...just a fact. The left right paradigm is over...the nation is over. America is no more. Republocrats are one and equally to blame. Debating the difference between the two is masturbation. Enjoy some good wine while we still can get it....I am.
The only problem with the "Liberalism hates god" idea is --WHO decides who is a liberal? Blaming some OTHER group for your world's problems is a losing strategy.
"I think NBC has a long record of being liberal". Whether or not that is true, Rep. Todd Akin made an assertion which he doesn't back up with evidence.
If you don't believe in God, than you'll inevitably believe in something as a higher power, and more often than not those who choose not to believe in God believe in the power of Man to govern and legislate away every wrong in their life. "Progressiveness" in a nutshell.
I am a skeptic, not a Christian or of any other faith, yet the flaming hatred of the left for Christians, and for Christian morals aside from the magic show, is quite apparent even to me.
Religious intolerance aside, the second part of Akin's statement, that liberals desire to replace God with the state, is absolutely true.
The faith that liberals put in their ability to rule the rest of us would be humorous, even touching, if it were not so damn scary.
This is a bit strident for my tastes but its far more true than false.
Of course not all libs are anti-religion or worship at the Church of Che Guevara. But enough of them are openly, cruelly and in many cases violently contemptuous of people of faith as to make a screed like this one by Congresscritter Akin more than half-correct.
Tell any starry-eyed Obamabot in a MoveOn T-shirt that you believe in God AND go to church. They'll look at you as if you had just strangled Lassie.
I dunnu... it's not conservatism telling people they're too dumb to make their own decisions regarding pensions, healthcare, schools, and insurance. "One size fits all" government programs seems pretty contemptuous to me. And if you want real hatred for America, go look up anything liberal idol Noam Chomsky has to say here on Youtube.
@Wiytithst some peopel are too dumb, and others are duped. Noam points out problems so they can be fixed. my country right or wrong hasn't flushed since viet nam
i thought republicans were all about going back to the rules that the founding fathers laid out? if that really is true then they should have no problem with taking 'under god' out of the pledge of allegiance. because it was only in 1954 that the phrase 'under god' was put in to protect america from godless communists.
and christians shouldnt like the pledge of allegiance anyway. you are pledging allegiance to a false idol.
If a liberal is a Christian, they do not hate god (if they did why would they worship him). If they're an atheist, they don't believe in the existance of a god and thus can't hate him.
Rep. Akin, of course, is correct in his statements - but what he said was 'politically incorrect'...
....and what is 'political incorrectness?'
That's easy; anything that the left finds offensive. Period.
It's why pundits, comedians, reporters can get away with calling Sarah Palin every vulgar name one can muster - and yet NONE of them ever have to pay a price - because the left isn't offended. Yet, Todd Akin shares his perspective on liberalism and gets excoriated.
@johnlorican Really now? A politician calling his opposition enemies of god is judged more harshly than stand-up comedians telling sleazy jokes? Who'd have thought?
@WatermelonRat ....Akin, of course, didn't call 'his opposition enemies of god.' He clearly said that liberalism if a 'hatred of God.' His obvious focus was on modern-day liberal philosophy.
This COULD be a wonderful opportunity for people to discuss philosophical positions - and for Akin, a superb historian who is no backing down from his statement, to clarify WHY he's reached his conclusions....sadly, I'm sure it'll just go the direction of name-calling and demonization, however...
Rep. Todd Akin is right, we need too replace Goverment with God and start Burning WItches and cutting people's Ear's off like in the good ol dark ages, everyone loved the dark ages! LMAO!
God is Fake, Jesus is Fake, all religion is Fake! The Dark Ages will not come back no matter how much you want it too right wing Moron's.
well, after reading what some "patriotTrueAmerica had to say, I'm convinced that behind liberalism are brains, and a true understanding of what history is all about. The USA was not founded under the christian religion. I don't know, maybe the treaty of Tripoli signer unanimously by the senate can serve as a fine example about that claim. But Ah! of course! Rightwingers don't know anything about history, only if you take away the "Hi" and add fairy tales. Pathetic.
@CasperCee Oh please. The bible? Which laws? Only TWO (TWO! TWO! TWO!) of your precious commandments are in American law. And no, Christianity didn't "invent" them. Those kinds of rules have been around since before then.
@frballz Laws and values are both in the Bible and the Ten Commandments. Yet you and all your liberal buddies want them OUT, DONE AWAY WITH. Liberals stand for no right, no wrong. No family or personal values or morals.
@CasperCee: You'd enjoy this link. Founding Fathers created the Declaration of Independence & the Constitution based on the Bible: faithfacts . org / christ-and-the-culture/the-bible-and-government
Founder's statements, including Washington's Thanksgiving Proclamation further prove this; testament of records in the National Archives & Library of Congress
@frballz You really have your head shoved that far up your ass. YOU EVEN SAID YOU KNEW OF THE 2 COMMANDMENTS THAT WERE LAWS!!!! Then, like a typical liberal prick, you tell me to "prove it".
@CasperCee Oh. So just those two are it? Those two commandments form the entire basis of our legal system. Right... You had me thinking that more of the bible had an influence beyond TWO FUCKING RULES! You know what I think. I think you are a liar and you don't know anything about the bible you cling to. You say the bible formed the basis of our legal system. I call bullshit. If I'm wrong, if more of the bible influenced our legal system, then PROVE IT.
@CasperCee How come that the "creator of the universe" thinks that bats are birds for example? that there are 4 legged insects? that the sun revolves around the earth? that the earth is flat?, that it is ok to command a man to murder hisson only to see if he is totaly devoted? (apparently only his son can read on hearts? lol Some say: when fascism arrives to america, it will be wrapped in the flag and carring a cross. How true!
@Mythopoeikon Even though the Christian exclusion in the Treaty lasted only 8 years, it did represent that Founders did not intend to "found" a Christian nation. They couldn't have done it even if they wanted to. America was already a Christian nation. If the Founders intended to found a secular nation, their constitution would have been rejected.
@Mythopoeikon From their modification came the added 11th Amendment. The statement that America is not a Christian nation does not appear in the original Arabic version. The phrase was NOT a part of the subsequent treaty. It was meant to show that the U.S. did not have officially hostile relations with nations which were officially Muslim.
@Mythopoeikon Joel Barlow, along with Captain Richard O'Brien, translated and modified the ARABIC version of the treaty to English. Barlow wrote the entire English version of the Tripoli Treaty AFTER abandoning the Christian orthodoxy for rationalism and became an advocate of secular government. The Senate received the Barlow text from the original treaty book and John Adams ratified it.
@CasperCee I'm sorry CasperCee. That sounds to my ears like apologetics. It is my impression however. But I only need to read what Thomas Jefferson said about Christian religion, along with, yes, John Adams. The Christian part was something that the religious portion of America has pushed all along, and perpetuated by continual repetition. Fishes don't feel wet all the time, for they live in water.
@Mythopoeikon The original Treaty of Tripoli was in Arabic. With the John Barlow translation of the Treaty of Tripoli, it states in Article 11 "the government of the United States in not in any sense founded on Christian religion". The Barlow translation was a poor attempt to paraphrase the summary of the treaty. The phrase "the government of the United States in not in any sense founded on Christian Religion" does NOT EXISTat all in Arabic. There is NO ARTICLE 11 in Arabic.
@CasperCee Really? It was submitted to the Senate by President John Adams, receiving ratification unanimously from the U.S. Senate. The treaty was printed in the Philadelphia Gazette and two New York papers, with no evidence of any public dissent, only during the Mcartie era were added the infamous "In god we trust" and "under god" only to oppose the comunism and people still think that it was so from the very beginning. Learn your history for "Christ" sake! lol
Denying Jesus is what the anti-christ wants & out of personal greed & pride we do just that but in do time the world will see their is only one savior and he is no part of this system of things meaning the government uses gods name for deception & simple minded humans have been misled since the beginning of time making the world about money instead of life an evil scam has been played on all of us but the truth always prevails over lies I rather believe in god then believe we come from monkies
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”
@HairyAssMuslimGirl You're quite wrong. But I think I could accurately say the heart of conservatism is discrimination. At least for your case, anyway.
@PatriotTrueAmerican Wrong. The country was founded on the basis of religious freedom. The Protestants were being protected from the other Christians in Europe, and they wanted to make sure what happened to them wouldn't happen to any other religious minorities, including Atheists and Muslims. They didn't flee oppression so they could go oppress someone else. They fled oppression with hope that they could create a more fair and free world.
@Kefemu: You have a horrible understanding of American History. The Founders were Protestant escaping mandated Catholicism.
John Jay, Founding Father and 1st U.S. Chief Supreme Court Justice:
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"
As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen,— Treaty of Tripoli
@Fratty124: The "Government" as in the "Laws". As in, you won't go to the guillotine for not attending Sunday School ~ nor will we wage war against a country for being non-believers. Founders (Protestant), like today, believe in free will.
"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ." - Patrick Henry
@Tlincalin: Of course ~ but apparently you don't comprehend.
The "Government" of the United States, meaning the "Laws". The U.S. doesn't have "laws" stating one must recognize only Christianity ~ nor do we wage wars against other nations simply because they're non-Christian (Treaty of Tripoli).
"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity" - John Adams
"The Bible is the rock on which this Republic rests" - Andrew Jackson
@2010GOP And you've shown yourself to be a quote-mining liar. None of those quotes are complete or accurate, you've edited them heavily in order to try and make them say things which the people who said them never meant, or even came close to meaning.
Funny how the only way christian whackjobs can defend their whackjobbery is through lies and deception; of course the same is true regardless of the whackjob beliefs of people.
@pyrespirit: NOPE. I didn't edit anything. Visit the Nat'l Archives & Library of Congress for the original documents. Then again, maybe you shouldn't. You'd likely have to be put into an insane asylum when you realize you've been lied to
George Washington, National Thanksgiving Proclamation: "Almighty God, great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of our Constitution. Both Houses of Congress recommend a National day to give thanks and acknowledge the providence of Almighty God"
@2010GOP BZZT. Wrong; the quote is heavily, heavily edited, with entire sentences cut out between things to make it appear that's what was said. The quote, in it's entirety, is as follows (though still out of context due to it starting in the middle of a paragraph);
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence, were the only principles in which that beautiful assembly of young men could unite, and these principles only could be intended by them in their address,
@Fratty124: That is completely false. All Founders documented their faiths ... all Protestants except for 3 Catholics, but those 3 Catholics also believed in free-will; it was heavily discussed. The number of Founders who referred to "Jesus Christ" in regards to our nation would boggle your mind.
@2010GOP in their address, or by me in my answer. And what were these general principles? I answer, the general principles of Christianity, in which all those sects were united, and the general principles of English and American liberty, in which all those young men united, and which had united all parties in America, in majorities sufficient to assert and maintain her independence. Now I will avow, that I then believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity
those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God; and that those principles of liberty are as unalterable as human nature and our terrestrial, mundane system.
"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God." - John Adams
July 8, 1776: The President & Secretary of Congress read the Declaration of Independence, proclamation to the city, ringing the Liberty Bell with Leviticus 25:10 inscribed above it.
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers".
John Jay, Founding Father, 1st Chief Supreme Court Justice of the United States, The Correspondence and Public Papers of John Jay, Vol IV, p. 365
"Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise. In this sense and to this extent, our civilizations and our institutions are emphatically Christian" - See Richmond v. Moore, Illinois Supreme Court, 1883
@2010GOP And there's your problem, you're reading and believing the revisionist fictional 'history' that's been pushed lately by certain theocratic 'conservatives.'
You've already demonstrated yourself to be either quote-mining or buying into quote-mining, and the only thing you have to back up your position is -more- quote-mining which falls apart as soon as the full record is examined. You're either a fool or a liar, take your pick - there is no third option.
@pyrespirit: Wrong ... not quote-mining ... I listed my sources. As I said, go to the National Archives & Library of Congress. All of that proof that you're wrong seems to really get to you.
@2010GOP Except I posted the full quote for you, showing all the parts you either youself conveniently deleted, or didn't do the necessary reserach when other people deleted them. But go ahead and keep lying, it's all you're apparently good at.
He is exactly right. We will go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. JESUS IS LORD and if you don't believe that then you are going to hell. (I am talking directly to you moslems, gays, jews, and libtards, repent your wicked ways, take the bible as the complete literal word of God Almighty or spend eternity in hellfire!)
@byroninwahroonga Taking the most literal reading of a question does not make you look as smart as you think it should. I'm asking what kind of person votes for one of these know nothing Christo-fascists. I know voters elect them, that's why I asked who ELECTS them.
As a liberal who believes STRONGLY in God, I am very offended by what this man said. Someone should teach him that Jesus was the most liberal person to ever walk the earth, and that it's his corrupt party that seeks to replace God with government by setting moral standards for everyone.
@VoiceHunter I don't think that he is saying there are no true Christians that are liberals. Many people adopt philosophies without following them to their logical ends. However, the core assumptions of political liberalism as it is seen in the US tends to replace the role of religious base ethics and replaces it with big government inventing and enforcing its own subjective morality. Also, your statement that Jesus was a liberal is foolish and unfounded
@athinkersfaith It's those on the right who want government to set moral standards and "traditional values" for people by banning abortion, choosing who can and can't get married, requiring prayer in schools, among many other things. It is the individual who should choose which of these things are right and wrong, not big government.
Jesus told us to give all we have to the poor and provide them with all resources necessary.
@athinkersfaith Denying someone health care because they don't have the money is NOT acceptable in God's eyes. Now please, you're a huge embarrassment to Christianity's teachings. Please, just renounce your faith.
@VoiceHunter: You, of all people, talk about others being an embarrassment to Christ's teaching after posting Bristol Palin is "slut", I am a "dumb bitch", and after mocking scripture?
Way to display judgement, a wicked tongue & blasphemy all in a 1/2 hour ~ not to mention touting Biblical scripture that you're illiterate of in order to get something you didn't earn. I believe that could also fall under, "Thou shall not steal" and "Thou shall not covet".
@2010GOP I see you don't like getting a taste of your own medicine, then. I can't count how many times I've seen so-called "Christians" say women should be killed for getting an abortion, saying that Obama should be lynched, telling gays they're going to Hell, and attacking people endlessly. Well, that's all okay. But when someone from the left does it? Then it's immoral. Don't lecture me on being hypocritical, sweetie. You've got an entire pack of hypocrites on your side of the aisle.
@VoiceHunter: You're Biblically illiterate .. it's that simple. Virtually every theologian would tell you Christ represented the landowner
I never once heard or read someone claim to be Christian & in the next comment promote killing women who get abortions, lynching Obama, etc.
Yet you, who claim to be "Christian" calls people bitches & sluts, and said this about the Palins: "Trigg is the epitome of redneck-ism .. the whole family is retarded rednecks". How Christ-like
@2010GOP Jesus would not represent the landowner because, if He did, that would conflict with His core teachings. Philosophically, that assertion cannot be right.
Oh please. Look around. Christian/populist hate all people and justify it with God. The most popular group your side loves to attack is Muslims.
Like I said. Taste of your own medicine. If harsh rhetoric is necessary to get a point across, then so be it. Live it and love it! :)
@VoiceHunter: No, it does not conflict with His core teachings ~ you only think that because you lack understanding of His core teachings. Are you a theologian? Highly doubtful ~ especially one who mocks scripture just to try and score a political point.
God gave us common-sense, well, most of us. When 18,000 deadly acts of terror across the globe have been committed by Muslims just in the past 10 years, common-sense tells you to screen them instead of 95 yr old ladies dying of cancer
@2010GOP Because you believe the Bible characterizes Jesus as a greedy landowner, I cannot even recognize you as Christian anymore. I doubt you're a theologian either, bitch. People with common sense don't twist the words of God to fit their own right-populist agendas.
Oh, of course. Because southern Christians never lynched black people, right? Because Israeli scum never relentlessly kill Palestinians, right? All religions have blood on their hands, you poor delusional nut.
@VoiceHunter: Why are you bringing up "others"? I'm specifically referring to you who's on a video regarding "morals", calling themselves a "Christian", yet feels it's perfectly fine to judge others, calling Bristol Palin a "slut", me a "little bitch", Trigg Palin a "retard", believes it should be a "choice" to mutilate a baby, and mocks Biblical scripture.
WOW ~ so UN-Christ-like
Seems to me, you need to review your own faith & adjust that moral compass prior to criticizing others.
@2010GOP I bring up others to prove a point, and that very comment has proven me to be successful. I have nothing personal against anyone, but I said all those things to demonstrate the despicable attacks that are normally carried out by religious fundamentalists. Today you had what is called "a taste of your own medicine."
a) I don't see those "others" you mention on this video about "morals"
b) I've not seen Conservatives act anything remotely vicious as this:
/watch?v=QTdovjvGu5A
c) I'll forward the list of convicted Democrats w/prison time .. it's a long
d) Not racism, just common-sense. Weird how you continuously & freely bad-mouth Whites, accuse of lynching, etc but offended when stereotyping blacks. And yet, I've not heard of any lynchings lately ... excess crimes by Blacks I sure have
Your party is filled with people who have no morals at all, yet they preach God to justify their hate. I said I held nothing personal against anyone, but I made those insults so you would know how I feel every time I talk to a fundie fucktard Republinazi. I believe this is a perfect illustration of what happens most every day with these degenerates.
@VoiceHunter: "My" party is filled with hate? Let's review what we've seen in the last 8 years:
"Kill Bush" signs .. puppets of Bush on a noose .. signs that said, "Bush is in the White House, Bomb It" ... Trigg is a Retard like his Mother ... "Palin is a Cunt" t-shirts ... Liberals protesting the 2008 GOP Convention by beating people & throwing bleach in their faces.
Compare the above to "Tea Partiers". Lefties keep it so classy, don't they?
@2010GOP And what else have we seen? Teabaggers comparing the government to the slave owner and taxpayers to the "niggar", "The Zoo has an African lion and the White House has a lyin' African", Obama witch doctor signs, accusations of him working for Bin Laden (even though he died on his watch), accusations of him building concentration camps for Republicans, kicking old men with Parkinson's, and other nutty shit that Christ would never tolerate.
@VoiceHunter: I've been to both Tea Party rallies in Washington, DC. Never saw one sign with "nigger, anything referencing Obama/bin Laden, or kicking old men. Though I did see a Democrat ad of Republicans pushing a woman over a cliff in a wheelchair. African Lion / Lyin African was in reference to his Kenyan roots ~ nothing racist ~ just a play on words. Witch Doctor, concentration camps (Ron Paul followers), not racist.
NOTHING compared to "Kill Bush", Bush is a Murderer, etc
The wheelchair lady was a plant. Were you not aware of that? Let me let you in on a little secret: There are public clinics/hospitals located in every county in the nation who treat the poor and/or uninsured
On the last video, I agree w/virtually everything he said
You still haven't told me how either of those 2 videos even comes close to Liberals carrying "Kill Bush" signs & throwing bleach in people's faces simply for attending the GOP Convention
@2010GOP You defend EVERYTHING your Nazi friends pull, from death threats to racism. Just look at yourself. You AGREE with white nationalists. Everything I showed you is much worse than a few signs.
Bleach? Hell, they should feel lucky that worse wasn't thrown on them.
@VoiceHunter: Nope, I would never condone death threats ~ it appears you do though ~ those "Kill Bush" signs mean nothing but Obama as The Joker from Batman was just over the top, huh? You think it's acceptable for protesters to throw bleach in people's faces for simply attending the GOP Convention? You're sick & twisted..
I'm for "equality" .. not the Black Caucus receiving special dollars for their constituents over other races. And I'm a big supporter of competency exams in order to vote
@2010GOP No I don't. Bitch, I've been testing you for the past few hours. Politicians from both sides are both guilty of committing crimes, and protestors from both sides are both guilty of incivility and violence. You were apparently too dumb to notice and you kept defending your side for whatever I threw at ya, so I played a little game with you. Not only do I know you're stupid and easy to take advantage of, but you're a huge racist as well.
@2010GOP Equality? Yeah, says the person who feels she needs to be more "vigilant in predominantly black areas". I've learned so much about you.
Now, when you showed your hypocrisies during this conversation, did anyone condemn you? No. When I relentlessly insulted you with all the ungodly rhetoric, did people condemn me? Yes. Face it. You lost.
@VoiceHunter: LOL WOW .. you must be getting desperate. You make less & less sense as you keep going.
Not sure what tax dollars to certain racial groups has to do with Dept of Justice stats on crime being more prevalent in black communities.
Clearly you live in some sort of fantasy land, absent of any reality.
And no, anyone w/at least 1/2 a brain can scroll through these comments & clearly see it's you who "lost". That's why you're running away after making a fool of yourself.
@2010GOP Those tax dollars are meant to help struggling communities where African Americans happen to be in the majority. You feel that, simply because of skin color, you should be more vigilant in predominantly black areas.
No one will even scroll through these comments because no one cares. I just kept a game going with you the past several hours, and you kept playing it to help make my point. Lol, poor dumb thing.
Who said anything about the Black Caucus's constituents "struggling"? Are you stereotyping by claiming Black communities need special help? I'm referring to expenditures not necessarily for the poor but that of 'special' dollars simply because of race
And no, since the DOJ released stats that black on white crime is 7 to 1, reality says take heed. Simple, but you're dense
I'm playing a game too on how many uneducated comments you can make in one night ~ you poor uneducated loon
@2010GOP No, dear. You're the racist one here, remember?
In places that happen to have minority-majorities where crime is at such a high rate, money may be allotted to help rebuild schools and bring opportunity to those parts of the country, which is especially important at a time when Hispanics have seen such an increase in population. Now, little bitch, just because some towns and cities struggle doesn't give you the right to think of black people any differently than white people.
"All 8 open investigations involve caucus members, and most center on accusations of improper ties to private businesses." The bottom line is that it appears the Congressional Black Caucus is devoted to two things -- spending millions of dollars on lavish parties and raising money from corporations and lobbyists .. lavish parties, golf outings, and $700,000 for an event called “Hollywood on the Potomac”
@VoiceHunter: You're not very bright, are you? I said the black caucus touts the need for "special funds" ... crying "special race" and then on top of that, misuses it.
@2010GOP The Black Caucus' goals are to "positively influencing the course of events pertinent to African-Americans and others of similar experience and situation," and achieve "greater equity for persons of African descent in the design and content of domestic and international programs and services." I did not stereotype at all.
You took that statistic as reason to feel more cautious when traveling through black neighborhoods. You believe that black people need to be more "closely watched".
@VoiceHunter Fool. Raising taxes is not going to bring down the debt and is not going to help anybody. The only thing it's going to do is cost jobs and take our money.
@CasperCee Hey, Casper "Mantits" Cee! You keepin' that milk warm for me, buddy? :)
You don't like high taxes? Well, how'd ya feel in the 1980's and even earlier? Your taxes are much lower compared to the last century. Your taxes have been getting cut for decades, bud. All the Bush tax cuts did was increase the income gap and add to our deficit. Moron.
@VoiceHunter WROTE: "Your taxes are much lower compared to the last century"
LOL!! Further proof of how DUMB you are. That's why Democrats love their base of ignorant voters ... they know you're too stupid to understand indirect taxation, pass-through, additional taxes labeled as fees, etc.
What are we up to now? 75 new "taxes" in the past 40 years or so?
You'll just sit & wonder why your paycheck won't stretch as far & then blame your employer. Democrats can count on you! hahahaha!
@CasperCee You're a fucking fat moron. Now you're arguing that tax cuts=tax INCREASES? Go fuck yourself. Those fat cats in Wall Street are having a fucking ball. Has a single job been created because of them? No. But we extended them anyway to appease retarded hicks like you.
@VoiceHunter: WOW .. talk about "retarded". Here you go:
"The 2003 Bush tax cuts also generated a massive increase in federal tax receipts. From 2004 to 2007, federal tax revenues increased by $785 billion, the largest four-year increase in American history. According to the Treasury Department, individual and corporate income tax receipts were up 40 percent in the three years following the Bush tax cuts".
@VoiceHunter Government raises our taxes and take from the economy to spend more money. Obama and his ship of fools continue to spend and jobs continue to be lost, our economy continues to get worse, and our debt continues to rise. Massive government spending DOES NOT STIMULATE JOB CREATION. When the government increases spending, it crowds out the resources that business owners could have invested in their businesses.
@CasperCee What Obama should be doing is taxing the rich more and cutting spending. All the tax cuts could go to the middle-class. Then we would get out of debt and the gap between the rich and the middle-class would decline. Both Obama and Bush have spent money- who spent more really isn't important- but Bush gave Obama a mess that takes more than just three years to get out of. Even Obama warned that it might take more than one term.
@CasperCee Taxes were at higher rates in the 90's and we had true prosperity. Economic growth? Then why did we end up in a recession, moron? I'm not even going to bother with you, putz. You're too hilarious to take seriously.
Keep that milk warm for me, now. I feed my kids with it.
"Bush cut the dividend and capital gains rates to 15 percent each, and the economy responded. In two years, stocks rose 20 percent. In three years, $15 trillion of new wealth was created. The U.S. economy added 8 million new jobs from mid-2003 to early 2007, and the median household increased its wealth by $20,000 in real terms."
@2010GOP My God, you just won't shut up, will you, cunt? Go to bed.
8 million new jobs make bad economies, now? You're a full-blown retard. Tax cuts, along with the rest of Bush's spending, added to our debt. The government made up for it by printing bonds and IOU'S. We SPIRALED into debt. If you honestly think those tax cuts did anything good for this economy, look at where we are now.
@VoiceHunter: You must have taken those "special" classes.
Argue with the US Treasury, idiot. Bush tax cuts resulted in the largest 4 year revenue increase in American history. We didn't "spiral" into debt until Democrats took control Jan 2007.
6 years of a Republican Congress under Bush, 9/11, 2 wars = $2.9T added to debt
Just 4 years of a Democratic Congress = $6 Trillion added to the debt + a Quadrupled deficit
@2010GOP We had a SURPLUS when Bush's presidency started. It was GONE after the tax cuts were passed and we went into war. The Democrats didn't do what they said they would do and defund it, so we continued to spend. Bush spe

um Liberalism was founded in the 1840s and 50s as a response to the lack of worker's rights and social equality in the monarchial system of Europe as the population of Europe was exploding into mass society of the 1890s, but the traditional powers that be would not budge for reform like Great Britain did in 1846. Conservatism and Liberalism are modes of change always have been, always will be. Secularism is not a correlary to anti religion dumbass; its a separation not an outright dismissal.

Mythopoeikon 8 months ago
@Mythopoeikon Even though the Christian exclusion in the Treaty lasted only 8 years, it did represent that Founders did not intend to "found" a Christian nation. They couldn't have done it even if they wanted to. America was already a Christian nation. If the Founders intended to found a secular nation, their constitution would have been rejected.
CasperCee 8 months ago
@Mythopoeikon From their modification came the added 11th Amendment. The statement that America is not a Christian nation does not appear in the original Arabic version. The phrase was NOT a part of the subsequent treaty. It was meant to show that the U.S. did not have officially hostile relations with nations which were officially Muslim.
CasperCee 8 months ago
@Mythopoeikon Joel Barlow, along with Captain Richard O'Brien, translated and modified the ARABIC version of the treaty to English. Barlow wrote the entire English version of the Tripoli Treaty AFTER abandoning the Christian orthodoxy for rationalism and became an advocate of secular government. The Senate received the Barlow text from the original treaty book and John Adams ratified it.
CasperCee 8 months ago
@CasperCee I'm sorry CasperCee. That sounds to my ears like apologetics. It is my impression however. But I only need to read what Thomas Jefferson said about Christian religion, along with, yes, John Adams. The Christian part was something that the religious portion of America has pushed all along, and perpetuated by continual repetition. Fishes don't feel wet all the time, for they live in water.
Mythopoeikon 8 months ago
@Mythopoeikon The original Treaty of Tripoli was in Arabic. With the John Barlow translation of the Treaty of Tripoli, it states in Article 11 "the government of the United States in not in any sense founded on Christian religion". The Barlow translation was a poor attempt to paraphrase the summary of the treaty. The phrase "the government of the United States in not in any sense founded on Christian Religion" does NOT EXISTat all in Arabic. There is NO ARTICLE 11 in Arabic.
CasperCee 8 months ago
@CasperCee Really? It was submitted to the Senate by President John Adams, receiving ratification unanimously from the U.S. Senate. The treaty was printed in the Philadelphia Gazette and two New York papers, with no evidence of any public dissent, only during the Mcartie era were added the infamous "In god we trust" and "under god" only to oppose the comunism and people still think that it was so from the very beginning. Learn your history for "Christ" sake! lol

As a liberal who believes STRONGLY in God, I am very offended by what this man said. Someone should teach him that Jesus was the most liberal person to ever walk the earth, and that it's his corrupt party that seeks to replace God with government by setting moral standards for everyone.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter And as a liberal Christian, I do not want the government confiscating God for its own jingoistic purporses.
edgwaterprog 8 months ago 2
@VoiceHunter I don't think that he is saying there are no true Christians that are liberals. Many people adopt philosophies without following them to their logical ends. However, the core assumptions of political liberalism as it is seen in the US tends to replace the role of religious base ethics and replaces it with big government inventing and enforcing its own subjective morality. Also, your statement that Jesus was a liberal is foolish and unfounded
athinkersfaith 8 months ago
@athinkersfaith It's those on the right who want government to set moral standards and "traditional values" for people by banning abortion, choosing who can and can't get married, requiring prayer in schools, among many other things. It is the individual who should choose which of these things are right and wrong, not big government.
Jesus told us to give all we have to the poor and provide them with all resources necessary.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@athinkersfaith Denying someone health care because they don't have the money is NOT acceptable in God's eyes. Now please, you're a huge embarrassment to Christianity's teachings. Please, just renounce your faith.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: You, of all people, talk about others being an embarrassment to Christ's teaching after posting Bristol Palin is "slut", I am a "dumb bitch", and after mocking scripture?
Way to display judgement, a wicked tongue & blasphemy all in a 1/2 hour ~ not to mention touting Biblical scripture that you're illiterate of in order to get something you didn't earn. I believe that could also fall under, "Thou shall not steal" and "Thou shall not covet".
What an example of Christ you are...
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP I see you don't like getting a taste of your own medicine, then. I can't count how many times I've seen so-called "Christians" say women should be killed for getting an abortion, saying that Obama should be lynched, telling gays they're going to Hell, and attacking people endlessly. Well, that's all okay. But when someone from the left does it? Then it's immoral. Don't lecture me on being hypocritical, sweetie. You've got an entire pack of hypocrites on your side of the aisle.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: You're Biblically illiterate .. it's that simple. Virtually every theologian would tell you Christ represented the landowner
I never once heard or read someone claim to be Christian & in the next comment promote killing women who get abortions, lynching Obama, etc.
Yet you, who claim to be "Christian" calls people bitches & sluts, and said this about the Palins: "Trigg is the epitome of redneck-ism .. the whole family is retarded rednecks". How Christ-like
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP Jesus would not represent the landowner because, if He did, that would conflict with His core teachings. Philosophically, that assertion cannot be right.
Oh please. Look around. Christian/populist hate all people and justify it with God. The most popular group your side loves to attack is Muslims.
Like I said. Taste of your own medicine. If harsh rhetoric is necessary to get a point across, then so be it. Live it and love it! :)
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: No, it does not conflict with His core teachings ~ you only think that because you lack understanding of His core teachings. Are you a theologian? Highly doubtful ~ especially one who mocks scripture just to try and score a political point.
God gave us common-sense, well, most of us. When 18,000 deadly acts of terror across the globe have been committed by Muslims just in the past 10 years, common-sense tells you to screen them instead of 95 yr old ladies dying of cancer
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP Because you believe the Bible characterizes Jesus as a greedy landowner, I cannot even recognize you as Christian anymore. I doubt you're a theologian either, bitch. People with common sense don't twist the words of God to fit their own right-populist agendas.
Oh, of course. Because southern Christians never lynched black people, right? Because Israeli scum never relentlessly kill Palestinians, right? All religions have blood on their hands, you poor delusional nut.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@2010GOP Next you're going to tell me we should be profiling black people because "blacks steal more", right? Little bitch?
You pulled that statistic about politicians out of your ass.

VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: Why are you bringing up "others"? I'm specifically referring to you who's on a video regarding "morals", calling themselves a "Christian", yet feels it's perfectly fine to judge others, calling Bristol Palin a "slut", me a "little bitch", Trigg Palin a "retard", believes it should be a "choice" to mutilate a baby, and mocks Biblical scripture.
WOW ~ so UN-Christ-like
Seems to me, you need to review your own faith & adjust that moral compass prior to criticizing others.
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP I bring up others to prove a point, and that very comment has proven me to be successful. I have nothing personal against anyone, but I said all those things to demonstrate the despicable attacks that are normally carried out by religious fundamentalists. Today you had what is called "a taste of your own medicine."
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter:
a) I don't see those "others" you mention on this video about "morals"
b) I've not seen Conservatives act anything remotely vicious as this:
/watch?v=QTdovjvGu5A
c) I'll forward the list of convicted Democrats w/prison time .. it's a long
d) Not racism, just common-sense. Weird how you continuously & freely bad-mouth Whites, accuse of lynching, etc but offended when stereotyping blacks. And yet, I've not heard of any lynchings lately ... excess crimes by Blacks I sure have

@2010GOP watch?v=6ik4f1dRbP8
There you go.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: "My" party is filled with hate? Let's review what we've seen in the last 8 years:
"Kill Bush" signs .. puppets of Bush on a noose .. signs that said, "Bush is in the White House, Bomb It" ... Trigg is a Retard like his Mother ... "Palin is a Cunt" t-shirts ... Liberals protesting the 2008 GOP Convention by beating people & throwing bleach in their faces.
Compare the above to "Tea Partiers". Lefties keep it so classy, don't they?
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP And what else have we seen? Teabaggers comparing the government to the slave owner and taxpayers to the "niggar", "The Zoo has an African lion and the White House has a lyin' African", Obama witch doctor signs, accusations of him working for Bin Laden (even though he died on his watch), accusations of him building concentration camps for Republicans, kicking old men with Parkinson's, and other nutty shit that Christ would never tolerate.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: I've been to both Tea Party rallies in Washington, DC. Never saw one sign with "nigger, anything referencing Obama/bin Laden, or kicking old men. Though I did see a Democrat ad of Republicans pushing a woman over a cliff in a wheelchair. African Lion / Lyin African was in reference to his Kenyan roots ~ nothing racist ~ just a play on words. Witch Doctor, concentration camps (Ron Paul followers), not racist.
NOTHING compared to "Kill Bush", Bush is a Murderer, etc
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP There are many images of teabagger Nazis displaying their hate. Just Google them.
Yeah, that's what Republicans do all the time. You ever hear of the Paul Ryan budget?
It was a racist birther sign, putz. The intention was to make fun of his roots. Honestly, you'll defend your Nazi friends for aaaaanything.
There's a guy who posted on this very video with the name BarryDead, dumbass!

@VoiceHunter: What's there to defend?
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP You defend EVERYTHING your Nazi friends pull, from death threats to racism. Just look at yourself. You AGREE with white nationalists. Everything I showed you is much worse than a few signs.
Bleach? Hell, they should feel lucky that worse wasn't thrown on them.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: Nope, I would never condone death threats ~ it appears you do though ~ those "Kill Bush" signs mean nothing but Obama as The Joker from Batman was just over the top, huh? You think it's acceptable for protesters to throw bleach in people's faces for simply attending the GOP Convention? You're sick & twisted..
I'm for "equality" .. not the Black Caucus receiving special dollars for their constituents over other races. And I'm a big supporter of competency exams in order to vote
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP No I don't. Bitch, I've been testing you for the past few hours. Politicians from both sides are both guilty of committing crimes, and protestors from both sides are both guilty of incivility and violence. You were apparently too dumb to notice and you kept defending your side for whatever I threw at ya, so I played a little game with you. Not only do I know you're stupid and easy to take advantage of, but you're a huge racist as well.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@2010GOP Equality? Yeah, says the person who feels she needs to be more "vigilant in predominantly black areas". I've learned so much about you.
Now, when you showed your hypocrisies during this conversation, did anyone condemn you? No. When I relentlessly insulted you with all the ungodly rhetoric, did people condemn me? Yes. Face it. You lost.
Thanks for the fun ride.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: LOL WOW .. you must be getting desperate. You make less & less sense as you keep going.
Not sure what tax dollars to certain racial groups has to do with Dept of Justice stats on crime being more prevalent in black communities.
Clearly you live in some sort of fantasy land, absent of any reality.
And no, anyone w/at least 1/2 a brain can scroll through these comments & clearly see it's you who "lost". That's why you're running away after making a fool of yourself.
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP Those tax dollars are meant to help struggling communities where African Americans happen to be in the majority. You feel that, simply because of skin color, you should be more vigilant in predominantly black areas.
No one will even scroll through these comments because no one cares. I just kept a game going with you the past several hours, and you kept playing it to help make my point. Lol, poor dumb thing.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter:
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP No, dear. You're the racist one here, remember?
In places that happen to have minority-majorities where crime is at such a high rate, money may be allotted to help rebuild schools and bring opportunity to those parts of the country, which is especially important at a time when Hispanics have seen such an increase in population. Now, little bitch, just because some towns and cities struggle doesn't give you the right to think of black people any differently than white people.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: You're DUMB
NY Times, Jun 4, 2011:
"All 8 open investigations involve caucus members, and most center on accusations of improper ties to private businesses." The bottom line is that it appears the Congressional Black Caucus is devoted to two things -- spending millions of dollars on lavish parties and raising money from corporations and lobbyists .. lavish parties, golf outings, and $700,000 for an event called “Hollywood on the Potomac”
That's where those "special" dollars go
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP What the fuck does this have to do with your prejudice against black communities?
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: You're not very bright, are you? I said the black caucus touts the need for "special funds" ... crying "special race" and then on top of that, misuses it.
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP The Black Caucus' goals are to "positively influencing the course of events pertinent to African-Americans and others of similar experience and situation," and achieve "greater equity for persons of African descent in the design and content of domestic and international programs and services." I did not stereotype at all.
You took that statistic as reason to feel more cautious when traveling through black neighborhoods. You believe that black people need to be more "closely watched".
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@2010GOP I'm uneducated? You're the one who didn't even realize she was being exploited logically to help prove a point. :)
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter Fool. Raising taxes is not going to bring down the debt and is not going to help anybody. The only thing it's going to do is cost jobs and take our money.
PERIOD.

Moron.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter WROTE: "Your taxes are much lower compared to the last century"
LOL!! Further proof of how DUMB you are. That's why Democrats love their base of ignorant voters ... they know you're too stupid to understand indirect taxation, pass-through, additional taxes labeled as fees, etc.
What are we up to now? 75 new "taxes" in the past 40 years or so?
You'll just sit & wonder why your paycheck won't stretch as far & then blame your employer. Democrats can count on you! hahahaha!

@VoiceHunter Facts about Bush's tax cuts:
- they have not substantially reduced current tax revenues
- the increased child tax credit and fixing the alternative minimum tax reduced tax revenues much more than the "tax cuts for the rich"
- economic growth rates more than doubled since the 2003 tax cuts and 2007
- the tax cuts shifted more income tax burden toward the rich
Other facts:
- NO COUNTRY has ever taxed its way to prosperity
CasperCee 8 months ago
@CasperCee You're a fucking fat moron. Now you're arguing that tax cuts=tax INCREASES? Go fuck yourself. Those fat cats in Wall Street are having a fucking ball. Has a single job been created because of them? No. But we extended them anyway to appease retarded hicks like you.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: WOW .. talk about "retarded". Here you go:
"The 2003 Bush tax cuts also generated a massive increase in federal tax receipts. From 2004 to 2007, federal tax revenues increased by $785 billion, the largest four-year increase in American history. According to the Treasury Department, individual and corporate income tax receipts were up 40 percent in the three years following the Bush tax cuts".
2010GOP 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter Government raises our taxes and take from the economy to spend more money. Obama and his ship of fools continue to spend and jobs continue to be lost, our economy continues to get worse, and our debt continues to rise. Massive government spending DOES NOT STIMULATE JOB CREATION. When the government increases spending, it crowds out the resources that business owners could have invested in their businesses.
CasperCee 8 months ago
@CasperCee What Obama should be doing is taxing the rich more and cutting spending. All the tax cuts could go to the middle-class. Then we would get out of debt and the gap between the rich and the middle-class would decline. Both Obama and Bush have spent money- who spent more really isn't important- but Bush gave Obama a mess that takes more than just three years to get out of. Even Obama warned that it might take more than one term.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@CasperCee Taxes were at higher rates in the 90's and we had true prosperity. Economic growth? Then why did we end up in a recession, moron? I'm not even going to bother with you, putz. You're too hilarious to take seriously.
Keep that milk warm for me, now. I feed my kids with it.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter:
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP My God, you just won't shut up, will you, cunt? Go to bed.
8 million new jobs make bad economies, now? You're a full-blown retard. Tax cuts, along with the rest of Bush's spending, added to our debt. The government made up for it by printing bonds and IOU'S. We SPIRALED into debt. If you honestly think those tax cuts did anything good for this economy, look at where we are now.
Suck my hard cock.
VoiceHunter 8 months ago
@VoiceHunter: You must have taken those "special" classes.
Argue with the US Treasury, idiot. Bush tax cuts resulted in the largest 4 year revenue increase in American history. We didn't "spiral" into debt until Democrats took control Jan 2007.
6 years of a Republican Congress under Bush, 9/11, 2 wars = $2.9T added to debt
Just 4 years of a Democratic Congress = $6 Trillion added to the debt + a Quadrupled deficit
2010GOP 8 months ago
@2010GOP We had a SURPLUS when Bush's presidency started. It was GONE after the tax cuts were passed and we went into war. The Democrats didn't do what they said they would do and defund it, so we continued to spend. Bush spe
