It's a safety measure. When you're moving, the limiter is off so you can revmatch properly at high rpms. If you really want to rev it past 5500, move about 2mph and it'll come off.
there is no k-pro option for our cars, matter of fact there is no real engine management is out just a reflash that is imo not worth it. If I were you I would go with an intake next, thats another sound changer and it'll help out your exhaust/header combo.

Does any1 know why the Si only revs up to 5500rpm's and an ex can rev up to 7500rpm's b4 it cuts off standing still not driving the car???

It also reduces wheelspin and helps you get a better launch from a stop.
