ＩＥ(8も)はまぬけ。CSS理解しなすぎ、JSも正しく動作し­ないのが他のブラウザに比べて多すぎ。

Chormeはとにかく速いしレンダリングが正確だからいまさら­IEに戻る理由がわからない。

一つだけあげるとしたらGogoleツールバーのマウスオーバー­辞書だけどなぁ。そこはちょっと残念。

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what the hell does "sand-boxing" have to do with speed?

From google's definition, "A new approach to browser security: the Google Chrome Sandbox," I see no indication of SPEED in this quote. Also, sandboxing is not only in google chrome, and obviously isn't the first program to come up with it.

I must admit right now I am using Chrome, but would gladly switch back to Firefox if I had to. I wouldn't call firefox a failure just yet. Slow and Buggy? Prove it.

Well I'll join in and say that I believe that Firefox is the better browser. That said, I have found myself using chrome because of its simple UI, quick startup (even on an overclocked E8400, Firefox still takes a few seconds more than chrome, which is almost instant), and its simplicity.

In response to your "speed" part, I'm assuming you understand the the most noticeable speed depends on the ISP, rather than the browser, which only has a faster engine.

I agree with jam. I had problems with Vista on release and gave up on it but when I bought a second computer with Vista on it I had no problems with it.. It's a beautiful OS with some minor backwards compatibility flaws that got patched pretty quickly by users and companies of the older software. PC is still superior price/computability wise and remains industry standard. Mac is still a far way away from being a worthy competitor in all fields. I don't trust google's new software direction.

more than 50% of Vista's bad reputation is due the media. Vista, in fact, is not a bad operating system, just killed by the media the second it was out. That said, I do not believe that upgrading from xp is necessary, but there is no reason to downgrade if buying a new computer/building a new computer.
