Pretty much every team on the grid experimented with these high, sidepod-mounted WINGS during the late 90's/ They were subsequently banned, possibly because of this incident right here.

@Burnout900012 I just dont see how that's possible, cause neither Petronas or Rebull are sponsoring Sauber anymore...well maybe they can try to use same kind of colors as they used to have back in the day, but we shall see.

@Homer0Simpson They were banned after a few races for being hideously ugly. They looked like someone glued two overhead projectors to the sides of the car!

@johnnyfiveisking yes they did cause concerns they were last seen at San Marino 1998. They were banned from Spain 1998.
