Well, I can't say much for the music, but the one scene there with Lancelot with his swords scissored on that guys neck was unbelievable! That guy's head was gone in two seconds flat!
We do need heros but they seem to be rare. My father-in-law during WW2 was in the back country of the Phillipines for years. The Japanses always went for the officers so many times Dad, as the sagent(sp) was in charge. The men trusted him and one said, "even if we know you're leading us to our deaths (in a horrible situation) we'll still go with you." Can you imagine? Today is Memorial Day and I try not to forget the real heros. . . :) Songs PS Thanks for the song and the video.
I haven't seen this movie in ages, this song goes very well with it, really shows what the legend that I believe about King Arthur and his Knights when used as the son in this video. Way cool! Constellation of Stars!
When I saw the title of the video I kinda said....hhhmmmm... but it works, very interesting, and of course, they all were heroes and remain so through the ages. The mark of a true classic: it may be transposed and transmuted through every culture and time retaining all its beauty and actually burnishing the patina of its majesty.
The song is entirely Fab for this clip - marrying the energy of the Welsh songstress Lass with the Britons greatest hero Arthur - the Saxons are now our Brothers and just Maybe Arthur and his vision for one united nation of Britons had something to do with that.
this song was first heard on channel 4 as the intro music to its new programme that introduced the U.K. to American Football back in the 80's still a classic to this day tho..
@jonsidneyb.... Whats from the 70s because the song isn't and i can tell you that for nothing it was first played on channel 4 when they introduced Britain to American Football and that was in the 80s or are you refering to the film if so then you are wrong again as this came out long after the 70s so back to my original question.....
** what is from the 70s ** please do enlighting us all ???
I Love King Arthur! It's one of my favorite movies of all time! Tristan is my fav! (Whenever I hear the song 'If You're Reading This' by Tim Mcgraw, it reminds me of the knights)
At first...i thought this was the funniest and corniest thing ever...but the song actually fits well with the scenes....i think this was an Awesome video....thanks for making it.
acyually this is the original song and frou frou's version is a cover they made for shrek. + i sorta like this one ut frou frou's version is a tad bit smoother and upbeat.. not as serious as this song but they're both great versions!!!
no no no, bitch you got it all wrong...you gotta go back further...in the misty vales of avalon, king arthur stepped out from the spell of morrigan-le-fay, and headed for where he might be able to happen upon hedge-hog pussy, because the maidens of his village looked more like the hogs on his father uther pendragon's farm...he fucked the first hedge-hog he happened upon, and lo! the race of britons was born!...:)...XD
Yes, this version of King Arthur was great! The characters, the scenery, the tall tale, All with no magic! They gave Merlin the mysterious illusive look, All the Knights from different countries and cultures forming a brotherhood, Bonded by blood during their servitude to Rome. Even the haughty Roman Bishop who Rode and fought in the saddle as well as at the table! The Saxon Ruler leading at the front of his army while honing his son to be his heir with harsh lessons! Great vid Rockon!, Taki
I actually really liked the King Arthur movie. It was a nice departure from the typical hollywood dribbel that they serve to us. Its story was solid as was the acting and action scenes. Clive Owen and Keria Knightly made a good duo.
super film avec beaucoup de punch ,vive le roi Arthur ! qu'il ait existé ne fait aucun doute car les légendes découlent de la realité historique EN plus les acteurs sont tous beaux et belles ce qui ne gate rien !!!!!
Fact or fiction...who the hell cares it is a wonderfull tale no matter what! That being said, great vid! That song fits this movie beyond my imagination! Love it! And OMG Owen rocked this movie...T-totally HOT!!!!!
One has to do with historical fiction the same thing as in science fiction. You need to suspend belief. We know sound does not travel in space, but the movie would be boring if they kept that accuracy. Same thing with historical fiction. Some people are idealized, omitted, etc. You can enjoy the story AND know the difference. KNOW when you see the movie of a book, the book will probably be better, so, why worry? Doesnt mean you cannot enjoy! Thats why movies say "based on the X". Cheers to all!

Arthur in the movie used the Lord's name but back then he dispised Christians, since they wanted him dead the most since he did not accept christianity and considered a pegan by them. The real battle heroes were: Arthur, Derfel Cadarn, Lanval, Issa, Culhwch, Sagramor, Agravain, Galahad, Cuneglas, Merlin, Nimue and many more that Excluded Lancelot the coward and traitor. Tristan helped arthur in Lugg Vale but was burnt alive later
movie is totally wrong. New evidence shows: Tristan was burnt alive at stake by his father for having slept with his father's 15 year old 6th wife. Lancelot was a coward, never fought and even tried to steal the thrown of Arthur. Guinevere was no warrior, she was daughter to a king of Henis Wyren that had no more power at the time and fooled Arthur to marry her so she can have power (she longed for power). Excalibur (false name of sword) was not picked off a stone but given to him by Merlin
unfortunately for you my friend I studied dark age period and wrote several works on it and did several presentations and read EVERY book on it, including middle age written books, huh, if you only knew how different middle age english was compared with today's english but anyway, the reply you left me clearly shows that you should continue to work hard in school to improve that degenerated "English".
