  • I have BuddyPress installed but am trying to add forums. I go through the process but I end up with the following message (after forums fails to install): A configuration file could not be created. No problem, but you will need to save the text shown below into a file named bb-config.php in the root directory of your WordPress installation before you can start using the forum functionality. Any video tutorials out there showing how to add this text?

  • @bnleez Hi, have you tried going to Appearance then Editor and look for the bb-config.php file on the right hand side of the page? Save the original code so you can undo it later. Then paste the suggested code into that file.

  • Do you know why my new users are not getting a confirmation email?

  • @thamarjohnson have you still got this problem? It is best to use support for this. Good luck

  • 0:53 sounds like he says bluddy press LOL

  • @TechHeroPower cheers bluddy. ;)

  • How can I keep my existing wordpress theme with buddypress. How about Buddypress template back? Help-

    Johanna

  • @loupiscesbklyn Hi Johanna, as far as I know there are only a few themes that you can use for Buddypress. Search for buddypress in the theme directory. You can customise them. But they are always updating. :)

  • Got a pretty cool looking website, wish my website was as cool.

  • Thanks for the Video mate. "Anyone can register" it's simple but hard to find. Thanks mate. I'm going to try buddypress media for uploading photos. Look forward to more if you could be bothered.
