  • check out Dalida's version on her under 'Gondolier'

  • @4bawbees I just watched the video of her singing it. Thanks.

  • @4bawbees Check out Fred Buscaglione's version under the title "Con Tutto il cuor".

  • This was THE song of our honeymoon in early September 1957 - sadly my wife died on 5.7.2011 after a long and harrowing this illness, and this song takes me back to a time of innocence and hope, sadly now gone.

On the technical side, Pet Clark had been a child performer for some time before this reached the big-time.

  • @Boysalesrep Good to know this takes you back to a happier time and place.

  • @SirBasildeBrush Thanks for that - miss her like fury, but I'm lucky to have the strength of my children - and grandchildren - and friends to stop me being a boring old fart. Fay Dunaway once said "you never stop loving the people you loved" so true. John

  • I have this song on a 78rpm, its timeless and would not be the same without the scratches

  • Teenage love in 1957 must have been very romantic. What have we got today, Lady Gaga?

  • Very Romantic !

  • @loydkoh826Thanks as always.

  • I'm looking for a song for my dad...he's looking for "Heart" by Petula Clark and I can't seem to find it. Do you happen to have this song and could you post it on youtube if you do? Thanks so much!

  • @wolverinefanatic Sorry, not in my collection.

  • @wolverinefanatic i know its a year later an possibly you may have found the song for your dad?

could it be "happy heart" by petula? if so its on youtube for you to let dad listen to

  • I love you Petula Clark.

  • A real vintage , you can hear the scratches on the 45. Didn't know she was singing allready in 1957.

Do remember this melody from my childhood , far,far away...when my mother was singing it ( only the lallala) .

    Chris.

  • As a child actor and performer, I'm sure she was already singing in the 1940s.

  • I have completely confidence in your expertise, SirB.

I wasn't born when she was allready performing at that time.

    ( will ask it my mother , she's 83 now , happy that i still can )

    Chris.

  • Thanks for posting it. iam glad i have found it on youtube. i only have this song on a vinyl play.

  • My pleasure. This is transcribed from a 45 I found in my local charity shop.
