What I was saying is that you're missing the point. When you talk about a law you can't say: "Because the bible says so", there's the separation between church and state because not everyone believes in the same God.

@ifu1seekamy True, we do not all believe the same thing, but our country was, whether people want to believe it or not, founded on the bible. The main reason, the colonists wanted seperation of church and state was because they wanted Christianity, but Great Britain only wanted Catholicism.

So people want to live in peace, and for that to happen you CANNOT impose your beliefs on to someone else. That's going back to the 19th centrury.
Actually the US wasn't founded on the bible. Only Maryland was founded on the bible (Mary - Land) the rest were protestants. They left England because they didn't want to be Catholics.

The reason kids kill themselves is usually because they get no support from their PARENTS. I would have had a much easier time with the bullying I got as a kid (and I had straight parents) if my parents just supported me no matter what. If you watch their other videos they also say that their kids never get bullied for having two dads. Daniel only gets bullied for the deformities he suffered because of his STRAIGHT MOM doing drugs when she was pregnant

Congratulations! I have to tell you, when I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed by the way my gay family is treated, I always turn to your videos. You remind me that there are injustices out there and we all need work for equality, but family still needs to come first. Congratulation for receiving the awards. You guys deserve it, because you guys are the 1st gay family in the history that show commitments, love for the family and that gay family is no better or worse than any 'straight' family. STop judging, or against gay marriage/ gay family as if a problem. Marriage is a engagement of two commitment persons that bringing up a wonderful family.

xadam2dudex, I understand your concern but I also have to say that I'm sure these guys were constantly thinking of their children while there and would have left if anything went wrong. My moms used to bring me to rallies when I was little and the thing I took away from it was that people can be very powerful as a group. It actually made me feel safe, knowing that people were gatherung together for families like mine.
