the live version i saw this weekend in nova scotia with them was 100x better. Anne had a crazy ass chello solo and it blew my freakin mind. it was like that one but 10000xbetter and more intense.

@Metalclub1 Intense hand independance.
The drums are muted strums at the bridge and fingerboard, and the one at the fingerboard (the strum) he actually uses his nail to hit the fingerboard.
At the same time he is picking the bass part and using the overlap between the bass notes and chords to strum the enitre chords.
At least that's the only way I can imagine it, but knowing James Hill, it's probably some ukulele-wizardry I can't even conceive of.
