A small part of me just died a little by watching this. She did it all wrong. She is far too energetic. She doesn't have a cane. She's not wearing a suit. And, her backup dancers are not copies of herself.

Ahh. I have never seen this performer before. Perhaps she would have stayed more true to the original in her earlier days, or changed it completely. I don't like remakes that are too close to the original, but not quite good enough. If they change the song enough, I am more likely to enjoy it. It's a personal preference thing.
