Chev, Ford, Dodge could be better trucks (although they are not), but the looking of this truck and the durability.

like the fact it isnt a work truck, it is really confortable too, the only thing bad from this is, fuel consumition, a 6.++L engine doesnt sound too afordable lol.

@batesville2 I agree that Toyota needs a diesel in the Tundra. If I had to tow more than 10,000 lb often, I'd buy an F-350. But let me point out that if you keep buying GM, Ford, or Ram for the rest of your life, you'll be driving until the day they die. You buy a Tundra, you'll be driving until the day you die.

What happened after that? Ford updated their engines, GM stepped up the tranny, Dodge upgraded body. Why? Because they had to. Give respect to where it's due.

@batesville2 It's called the Hilux. It's not a 1 ton or a 3/4 ton. It's closer to like a tacoma or a ranger, but it is one of the most well built trucks in the world. just look at some youtube videos of it. I live in MN and i have never had a problem with my tundra...

@batesville2 Hey man, stick to your opinion. Toyota uses more American parts than chevy, ford, or gmc. Tundra is the only truck made in Texas and Texas only. Toyota has hired 11,700 people in Texas, and invested more than $1.4 billion in the state of Texas. All this while GM, Dodge, and Ford are getting their parts from mexico (hemi) and building their trucks overseas! So buy what you want, I won't criticize you :)

just wondering... i got the 2.4 ready lift leveling kit on the front. trided to put 325/65/18r (34.5" ish) with a 2" offset wheel... didnt fit... then i was thinking even if you put a 6" lift on wouldnt the tires still hit the fenders if the suspension traveld more than 3" (say if you hit a bump) ????????

@romansoldierofhonor wow you have noooo idea what you are talking about.the tundra is a pretty good looking truck even better lifted and the 5.7 is NOT weak at all, what truck can go 0-60 in less than 6.5 sec and weight almost 6,700 lbs and then tow a 24ft neckover filled with cows down the road. Ive owned mine for 2 years and put 58,000 miles and the only money that came out of my bank was the money it took to pay for it, so unless uve owned one and actually know the truck, shut the fuck up

I like ths tundra because its fuel effient (for a truck) reliable (i am aware of the recall but toyota is acually DOING something about it and fixing thier customers cars!) and its safe =D plus it doesnt have a over price tag.
