@conman0414 Hello conman0414,of course an image is going to pixelate when you zoom it,that's what an image is made of,hundreds of millions of pixels,but a higher resolution image,about 1400x900(just an example) can be zoomed better,i hope it helped somehow.

I like to run the unsharp on the base layer first, then duplicate it. Run HP on the top layer at 20 pixels or thereabouts, set to overlay, and reduce opacity to somewhere between 20 and 45%, then flatten once you like it. You can adjust the numbers to create a final touch on an image that already has a grunge look and give it a bit more 'grit' using the overlay layer.

Ah, I see! Thank you, this is very helpful :o I will try this with a certain image. It's good to find another way besides using the "Sharpen" menu...because that can be a bit too harsh. I also like to mess around with Brightness/Contrast to get a better color.
