You know back in the day when it took 5 hours to get on the internet and you had to pay by the minute and the webpages were about as graphical as a DOS-machine and MTV and VH-1 PLAYED MUSIC VIDEOS, Pop-Up Video provided something different. It allowed people to get great trivia information to a video they already have seen dozens of times before.

His look is based on the god Shiva Ardhanarishvara (he who is half male & half female), the clouds on his suit represents the "Skyclad Shiva" or "he who is covered by the clouds". His love interest in the video represents the goddess Parvati, Shiva's Shakti & lover. The story of them making love in a barn (or temple) while the animals watch is identical to same Vedic story in the Kama Sutra between Shiva & Parvati.

Prince is simply Brilliant! Unbelievably talented. Don't care what anyone on this planet says about him, The Man has written more songs than most people can think about. I love all his material. I have an extra fondness for the Revolution period, That to me is Prince at is finest. The Revolution had an extrordinary sound.
