Ok to get this straightened out, I know the words that he's typing arent necessary, but that's not the point of this video. Maybe there are people in the world who can type this fast on the virtual keyboard? So the point is, if there is someone who does type this fast on a keyboard with a virtual qwerty, the hits dont register! So all you retards stop making it more complicated than it should be.
you should re-name this video "dumbass hits heyboard really fast and phone cant keepup" this isnt a bug as much as it is you purposely trying to pick the phone up. dumbass
Well make sure that you're completely taking your previous finger off the key before attempting to make the next key press. The Droids don't have a multitouch keyboard, unlike the iPhone.
theres a multi-touch kb called "smart keyboard", but it;s still in the development stage so it has minor bugs here and there.... although it IS a step in the right direction
@csoulellis Luckily, in most languages, you don't say KDSEKEKEKEKE very often. Even on a superior screen like the iPhone, I couldn't imagine typing anything that fast.
its not a keyboard error its a retard banging on the keys error, the machine doesn't know what you are press because you are hitting about 3 keys on each finger.
This is the reason I didn't buy this phone. I can type pretty fast on a virtual keyboard and this can't keep up. You WOULD type "hahah" that fast and this video proves the keyboard lag problem. This device should have been tested first, it seems they just pushed it out. Any argument mentioning the hard keyboard is moot, this is a problem with the virtual keyboard, if your car battery doesn't start but you have a portable jumper, should you always just use the jumper? Everything should work.
But thats beyond fast dude. Come on really, you type that fast? You look like you're trying to make it look bad. Anyone can do that. Everyone I've tested works fine. Iphone's is better, but this one is just fine.
@fuhqbuddie I can actually type that fast on the virtual keyboard. I love this phone dont get me wrong and I am definitely not going back to my iPhone, but I was just stating some issues/bugs with it
Well maybe your phone is defective I'm not sure. I tried duplicating what you did and my phone seems to keep up unless I start pushing on two letters at the same time. No I'm not a speed typer on a phone I guess compared to how I type on a regular computer keyboard. I also tried hitting keys really fast on the standard keyboard and it seemed to keep up just fine. I know their is a software update coming in December. I am not sure if it will also address keyboard issues.
Why would anyone type that way anyhow unless your just messing around? The virtual keyboard works wonderful on my Droid. I think the biggest issue is when you go so fast both of your thumbs are registering the touch at the same time and messing things up.
@yamajammer76 So it seems like your typing isnt that fast than? If you type slow than the virtual keyboard will naturally keep up, but once your typing gets faster then it can't keep up

I heard somewhere that you can go to the app store on the droid and download an app for free that gives you multitouch.

its sad to see how far your knowledge base in smartphones really is. And this coming from someone who says things "what keys you are press"
