I always thought the way to pronounce the name was "Zi-dan", but I learned the way to pronounce it was actually "Zih-dahn", since the everyone on the game pronounced it that way... .
Nevertheless, the battle was quick and awesome, even with just the one attack and Kuja being at Level 1.
I used to say "Zah-den-ay", "Zee-dah-nay" and other ways, but after playing DIssidia I got it and was like.. HIS NAMES EPIC ALONG WITH HIMSELF XD MATCH!
xD i think many people have to it that the E isn't s silent letter so it's ZI-DANE not ZI-DAN with the E being silent, but i guess the developers made it a silent E or sumthing...I dunno xD just guessing
It should be something like: Never Forget Zidane's Name
Cuz he kinda left it out til the last minute.

The pronounciation is right. -.-'

I pronounced it zih-dan, like Zinedine Zidane, but then everyone in Dissidia says zih-don and it threw me off. I still say zif-san though.

I don't get this idea people have of pronouncing quite obviously non-English names in a way only English does.

I'd rather pronounce his name 'Zih-daan' than 'Zih-dayh-ne'

Zidane is a real name, and it was never pronounced in any other way o.Ô
The Game (Kuja) pronounce it absolutely right^^
So I don't understand why people think, that the name is pronounced wrong :/

Developers didn't make the E silent, the person who originaly came up with the name did.

When I was little, me and my brother used to just pronounce it "Zai-dan" (Not "don" like the game pronounces it)
I try to pronounce it right, but bleh. Old habits die hard.

Zidane's Japanese name translates into Ji-Tan. That's where "Zi-Dan" comes from.
