Hi Jeff , i realy like how you take your time to explain stuff and Ive seen a couple of your youtube posts up to now.. BUT ;) as a dutch fellow its realy hard to follow all the terminology.. is it possible to hire some foreign speakers, or find some other solution?

@chatclap At this time the only store we distribute to that sells music in Brazil is Nokia. If we do add more stores with more territories, we'll certainly make a big announcement!

One of the things you could help artists out with is to help them get Youtube partnership or being able to monetized their covers. For example, if a track is uploaded to Tunecore for distribution. Artists should be able to monetized the video on Youtube through Tunecore. There are services that do this now like Fullscreen(.) net, ViralCafe. Artists have a really hard time monetize covers on YT even as a YT partner. You can do it through monetizing the audio through YT CMS system.

@Debonair73 Artists will gladly pay Tunecore a percentage just to be able to do this Jeff. It's billions of views that are not monetized because they are covers. I'm talking about covers where the artists reproduced the tracks. You will notice Boyce Avenue don't have ads on their covers but they have the covers on iTunes. Through CMS you can do a search to see if people have use the audio of a track and choose to monetize it as the publisher or rights holder.

@Debonair73 So you can to the audio of the cover and upload it to CMS and it will bring up Boyce Avenue video for it as an audio match and you can just monetize it that way. It will also bring up anybody else their use their version of the cover in their videos and you can monetize those video too. It hard for artists to get publisher or distribution status to get access to CMS but Tunecore can I'm pretty sure of it. It's millions dollars to made be doing this Jeff.

This has been so, Informative. This makes me a proud user of TuneCore. I feel like I've made the right choice as 21st Century Chicago Musician. I am, however, curious as to how we artists gain access to more services that seem exclusive to iTunes such as uploading video's to our iTunes representation page, as well as how to upload a large-scale high definition picture to maximize our professional representation on iTunes when we are searched by listeners?
