What I find quite fascinating, it's that it's possible to do this modular star with just one piece of paper. With one piece, the star has some weird looking sides, but still an awesome result! It's still harder to do that a modular one.

Im using plain white printer paper, but it still works for me. I have made a giant one for the first time and hopefully will make a big christmas tree to go with it! Nice video, very easy to follow by the way. : )

Well you have to make 6 modules and then put them together I made one it's so easy that anyone could might make it except babies and people that don't fold origami.

I love making this star as it's from the first origami book I was ever given. I got it for Christmas a few years back and have been making this model dozens of times since.

i dont know if this helps, but you see how there are sides like a compass with pieces pointing up, down, left and right? well, when you fold the tall flaps in, each left and right side will have a flap folded in them. if someone else figured this out, reply this comment with easier to understand directions, unless you all understood. peace

Watch in full screen, it helps. After watching it, this is how I can explain it. Stuff all the short ends into the longer and pointy ends. Then take the point that's sticking out, and reverse fold it into the the "structure". That doesn't make very much sense, but hopefully, it'll help you
