  • Yo. I just bought an arduino and I want to make a drummer to play guitar to like you have done. Could you educate me on how you got to where you did? I would appreciate it alot, thanks.

  • drum machines have no soul...

  • sounds like a typewriter.

  • The solenoid system is looking promising!

    Keep it up.

  • Yeah it took me an hour, it's about to fall apart. I'm gona do a proper video soon!!!!! multiple drums etc...

  • ok sounds cool. Would love to see it!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool! I'm planning a robot band and one of my robots will be a 128 percussian instruments robot called percusso.

  • what you mean 128 different instrumets

  • What I mean is 128 drums, cymbals and other percussion instruments. Some will be the drums in the Standard MIDI drumkit such as the Vibraslap and the snare drum. However, it will also have percussion that is not in the standard MIDI drumkit such as the Turkish Darbunka, the mini bongos, and the tenor drum.

  • Hope you don't get captured like I did.

  • Is that some sort of joke or are you Jaybot, creator of captured by robots?

  • Yeap.....

  • Where are your Captured by Robot videos? And have you ever thought of adding a robot keyboard to your band?

  • The videos are all over Youtube.

People take vids of us and post em.

I don't put any of my own up.

I'll never do a robotic keyboard player

Mechanical action to create synthesized sounds?

Kinda like chasing your tail, in my opinion.

  • Just you wait Jaybot! My band will rival yours in friendliness and the number of robots. I plan to make 73 robots at present. Some will be rare instruments like the A flat piccolo clarinet and others will be common instruments. If we ever meet, twill be on the robot band field of battle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Once I get started on my band that is)

  • Good luck with touring with that setup.

    I have 6 bots, and it's a nightmare to setup/breakdown every night.

Anyone who makes a robotic band and tours with it

    deserves mucho admiration.

Keeping it in one place as an installation is much less difficult, and really limits the people who can view it and enjoy it.

I'm all for a robot band battle.

When DRMBOT 0110 plays her kick drum so fast it becomes an oscillation, ye shall know that ye hath been bested.
