New Orleans where every street, no matter where you go, is full of potholes makes buying a car different. I want a tight feeling, good handling, high-quality car; but having been commuting in a Volvo S70 and BMW 528i teaches me that those good European cars fall apart, cost tons in maintenance, break my spine, and drink only premium fuel. It would be good to have that extra bit of cushion in the ride. I'm pretty sure, however, that a twin-turbo V6 has got to drink premium fuel.
I saw the MKS and, the latest version of the TownCar, side by side...and, the MKS is actually bigger than, the TownCar! It's also looks larger than, the BMW 7-Series and, Lexus LS, also. ;-)
it's cousin the S80, starts at around 40k, and with the twin turbo inline 6 it's nearly 50k. The V8 is over 50k. The MKS is a bigger car, and has all the features the S80 has.

Nice review by that guy....he seemed very fair and objective about this Lincoln, unlike the geeks from the Wall Street Journal and Road Fly.

$45,000 is too much for this car.
The MKS should be $45,000 with the Ecoboost V6 rather than without it.
When you add the ultimate package - the only way the car should be purchased, this car would be better if it was just $40,000

340 did sound awfully high!

Get your facst right. Only the TwinForce (Eco-boost) engine will have 340hp. The base 3.7L makes only 270hp.
