I got a 1973 delta 88 oldsmobile for free after finding out it belonged to my own dad. Its been sitting unused for 13 years and i'm trying to revive it. I know its going to need more than new spark plugs. Is gas change and oil change, gas filter change, new spark plugs, new battery be enough to get it up and running? Please guys i need your help on this, message me if you have tips and advices, thanks.

this makes me miss my old 88 lesaber... i had my first accident in that car nothing major just hit a gard rail. the final straw for that car was when the front tire fell off of it when i was doing 60.. but i did see a bunch of teeny boppers getting into it the other day at wal mart so that meands its still going.

I'm not sure you can wear out the powertrain in these cars! It seems like the engine and transmission would go on forever! This car had enough rust damage underneath to make you wonder, but it ran like new until the fuel pump died.

Thanks. I'm not really trying to copy Dave so much, but I must say that he got me back into making videos. I just got to watching his and enjoyed them so much that I decided to pull the camera down off the shelf and use it!

As for the video, I'm not trying to compete with Dave and his farm at all. I just got to thinking that "hey, look at all this stuff that's just sitting around. I'll bet I could do something with it!"

Uh, OK. Copying Dave isn't my intention. I am a great fan of his videos and made this as a "shout out" to him.

I've got a farm, some old vehicles and every right to play around with them and put it on YouTube. And who knows...maybe David would like to see a similar kind of video. If he does, great. If he doesn't, that's still great.
