The Aircast FP Walker can be used for moderate to severe ankle sprains, forefoot injuries, distal fibula fractures, and recovery after foot/ankle surgical procedures. Its tall height offers greater immobilization compared to its smaller SP Walker cousin. It has a dual air bladder design to which helps move edema away from the ankle joint as well.
Thanks for the question. The easiest to clean the FP Walker is to use soap and water on the outside. As for cleaning the liner inside, the best practice is to wash it by hand in your sink with Woolite or another soft detergent. We do not recommend putting the liners in your washing machine as this can stretch and/or tear them.

Aircast walkers have a 6 month (longest in the industry)warranty. You can get that resolved by taking the item back to where you received it for an exchange as long as you're within the 6 month time period.
