At the end of the movie, I had a moment of thought, where I was dissapointed. I wanted for the two characters to fall in love and be together. However, a few minutes later, I understood that the entire movie was focused on the boy's changing into a man. By protecting the girl and by finding a good purpose in life, the boy took responsibility. The movie was about the journey, not the romance. Now that I understand the difference, I really love the film.
