@shanchilly I've played mine for countless hours and they are fine. I regularly clean the entire system with a cloth to keep it in top condition, the only other thing I do is use is Isopropyl alcohol to keep the screen clear.

the main problem is, what you don't really know UMD reading speed is about 1,5 MB/s, the flash memory's reading speed is about 10 MB/s (IN THE FAT MODELL), so your compairing is totally from a wrong view point! Do this test again, with the gta is in the memory card of the fat one!

I have just tested it with my fat modfell and it's fast as the go!!!!

but i really want a psp go because of bluetooth and it's design!

@shanchilly It still gets choppy during gameplay but the game does run better overall (nowhere near as much pop-in as before, so less lag while driving). Both versions of the game play well.

@pryt86 which is bullshit, that means no nice packaging or instruction manuals it means if anything happens to your console or your psn account your fucked, it means that in order to have video games you'll HAVE to have a major credit card. Direct Download is nothing but a conspiracy to cut costs on manufacturing games and to generate more money for credit card companies

@shanchilly I'm afraid I doubt it. The UK offer is 10 free games, and I doubt you will be able to get the offer if you buy a PSP from a different region or try the offer through a different PlayStation Network.

With that said the UMD version is very cheap now, and the slower loading isn't a huge problem.

@shanchilly @shanchilly Vice City Stories comes as a free download if you buy a PSP Go in the UK. You can buy it from the PSN store for £13.99 in the UK, not sure about the price in other countries. They accidentally put it up for free for one day only a few weeks ago, but they've obviously fixed that now. Download size is just under 1.6 GBs.

Shame there are missing AAA games as digital downloads.. Why not use a similar PSP 1000 that uses an installed game in the memory stick and pit that with the Go?
