  • i love black hole, but i still think M-1 upper liftline is harder.

  • @nashkrywka totally agree

  • i did this trail in march. we had gotten 4 feet of fresh pow overnight.

  • In this video of black hole, the trail was actually closed and I was not able to enter from the side near upper lift line. So, I may have missed a few drops sneaking in from the upper FIS side.

  • Hi, this is Ryan. One thing that i can say about black hole is that it is hard to tell from the video, but it is extremely steep and trees are very narrow. I do agree that trails that I have done out west like sugar cliffs at snowbird or devil's castle at Alta are tougher. In the east, black hole is the toughest trail that I have done.

  • Should the black hole actually be a triple diamond? I have seen tons of comments about 10 years going in it and then you a 9 year in it which is great but the people are kind of young is it really that hard?

  • @IMseanIsnowboard I ski trees like this every week or so (ski 4 days a week), i would have a hard time calling this anything past a double black, tripple black should be saved for runs with mandatory huge drops ect

  • @snowyphil65 Yeah to me it looks like a double..but I hear this has huge drops in this trail too..Look up Smuggs- 61 inches in 6 days and they show black hole in it and it has two big drops in it but i would still say double black

  • @IMseanIsnowboard yea i saw the drops in that one, big but not huge, idk, guess the west is just on a diffrent standard

  • @snowyphil65 yeah still looks like a fun trail though..

  • @IMseanIsnowboard for sure
