I got to the 1st Bde 101st Airborne Division on Feb 15, 1967...and spent 1 year before I went to E Co (LRP) 20th Inf (Abn) First Field Force Vietnam...I was suppose to go to the Bde LRRPS but then the Division arrived in Dec 67 down in Saigon so when we heard the whole Division was coming and it would be Airmobile, a lot of us left the Brigade...I'm glad I did since E/20/LRP which later became C/75/RGR was the best unit I ever served with in 23 years in the Army
