  • very pulptastic funny

  • "Play some jazz and talk some crap..." lol! This is hilarious!

  • i love it

  • I almost cried watching this. Loved it.

  • he looks like J.C. aswell

  • This is clearly just an acute parody of the student culture. I went to university for a while and I could see those pretentious people all over the place.

    Love it!

  • who is this guy?

  • Sounds like one of the people this is ripping on.. ha! "Tcftist - I feel your comments are somewhat misguided and show signs of bitterness and resentment. The piece does not make any assumptions or judgements about Cockers class origin, therefore is in no way a comment or criticism of him. Nor indeed, is it a condescending insult to factory workers or people who work on trains, and only someone with a chip on their shoulder would make this comment."

  • Brilliant!

I thought this was amazingly clever, and I've been shock-waving it around my friends.

    Good Jarvis impersonation.

  • blah.

at the end of the day it's just...not very funny is it?

and where did i suggest it's makers think all irish people are thick? missed that one.

  • TCFIST - In fact the 'lyrics' seem to be attacking the same thing you are attacking, so you can't have been listening to it very closely. Nowhere is it suggesting its makers believe all Irish people to be thick.

  • Tcfi- stLooking closer at the piece (whilst it lacks the technical sophistication or 'eureka' moment of an Unstoppable Kite video), its grainy analogue aesthetic dates it to a time that perhaps prefigures the Chris Morris piece, and anyway, the parodic lyrics are attacking a different target, therefore such a comparison is futile (nobody's saying it is better, nor is it a copy).

  • Tcftist - Also, whilst the realities of being a 'student' are far from acceptable, the term 'student' as a form of insult has been laughably redundant for over ten years and says far more about the person using it that the notion they purport to be attacking.

  • It's a joke dude. Calm down.

  • but it's not even remotely funny at all, about as funny as making a joke who's humour is based around an assumption such as "all irish people are thick", because it's just simply untrue. You'll only get the gag if you buy into the idea. Good humour always contains that "Eureka!" feeling, the sound of a nail being hit on the head. Chris Morris did this thing much better years ago

  • Haha, I do agree with you on the Chris Morris thing. That was actually what I was looking for earlier when I found this video.

  • Tcftist - I feel your comments are somewhat misguided and show signs of bitterness and resentment. • Favourite'd. I'm sure I've seen at least part of this before but I don't recall where.

  • Haha! Lovin this.

  • Really cool. Nice satire
