I agree with him, but he should be arguing for deregulating the telecommunications sector and allow the "market" to thrive that he's talking about. You don't need to regulate the internet even once--simply deregulate the source of the internet and that will foster competition.
He's talking about the lack of competition, and hence a marketplace, in choosing broadband. Maybe you should pay more attention before calling someone a dumbass.
maybe you should understand what the HELL THE INTERNET IS before making a snide ass comment. The internet will never be the same marketplace as the physical world. To try and make it so is absolutely retarded(c'mon, setting up a pyramid scheme to enslave what? a bunches of IP addresses, makes no sense), and looks like your king of the Dumbasses right now.
and further more, I have 5 different options for broadband cable services, I can go with PTD, COX internet, HughesNET, and Qwest DSL. If I wanted to pay 100 dollars a month I could also go with AT&T's T-1 package. Lack of competition you say? I don't see whatever the hell you are talking about.
Currently, in my area, we have only Verizon Dsl and Comcast. Furthermore, due to my distance from their routing equipment, Verizon's DSL provides speeds lower than dial up. This situation is common for many people.
BTW, capitalization and punctuation are your friends. Use them wisely.
Love his comparison of the bills at 16:14 - ha!
