For you Europeans Hollywood is California. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in lots of blockbuster films. Most of the businesses in California are based around entertainment. Universal Studios and Disneyland are both in California. It makes sense why people voted for him because he was pretty knowledgable about the industry.

The technology industry (Silicone valley etc), aerospace industry and also agriculture are arguably more (but at least as) important as Hollywood - what does he know about them? And after them taxes, healthcare, policing, local services, debts etc are more important to know about than entertainment - so what does he know about them as well?
