ive never found a good chemist (drug store) nude in England, there always too brown or orange toned, my favourites are mac myth and elf natural nymph. i wear these two on a regular basis and if i feel i need some colour i just wear a brighter lipstick over the top of one of them for a pop of colour.

I have a few Nars blushes -- my favorite is Cactus Flower (because the color is really pretty :)). They go on really well and last all day on me, no patchiness. I don't have/haven't tried Penny Lane though... I would LOVE to try the Illamasqua blushes (don't have easy assess to them though :( so boo)

Mac is coming out with a collection that is going to feature a few of their cream blushes ;) so keep an eye out

FYI Mac is replacing their old cream blsuh with the new "Cremeblend" blush this march. They are easier to spread and more pigmented. x

As far as I know the "Creme Blushes" are going to be replaced by the "Cremeblend Blushes". I think they already came with the Lillyland-Collection and in March 2011 they will be part of the permanent collection.

i read that MAC is not discontinuing the cremeblushes, just CHANGING them to Cremeblend blushes (the ones that came out with the Lilyland collection)--and those are apparently permanent. Sorry, I can't remember where I read that but hopefully it's true!

After much persuasion and a bottle of wine he finally caved and gave my makeup a go! I have to say, he did quite well, until he got to the eyeliner where I'm not sure that he expected it to apply the way it did and I looked such a mess. Hi Tanya! You should check out the Revlon nude lipsticks. I have never tried them but I am very interested in hearing your opinion on the because in one of Lisa Eldridge last videos she talked about her lipsticks palettes and she had a lot of revlon lipsticks. They might be good =)

@emilyconnickmakeup just my 2 cents but I feel the Illamasqua is better. It is synthetic (vs. MAC, which has natural hairs) and so will pick up the right amount of product (without soaking up too much). Also, it's so much more fluffier than the 224 and is gentle on the delicate under-eye skin .
