What material is that made out of?

I would like do know i have been bored recently so i started drawing plans for a terminator armor suit. I was planning lighwheigh Epo foam underneath covered by carbon or plasticard sheets that i can get easily from a friend but the material you guys are using seems more flexible than EPO/carbon.

If a functional & cost effective suit like that could be made & used properly it would b one hell of a shock & awe weapon :O In closed in urban or woodland areas such a weapon would be brutal. Another possible use if not also a bit ahead of our time would be the high altitude or orbital Drop pods. Now that would redefine Blitzkrieg >:D

Actually there is no "correct" helmet :P The chapters would keep changing the helmets according to the current affair in the chapter. For example, the original space marine helmet looked like it had a beak, or Pre-Heresy. It all changed after some chapters deflected to Chaos, and their helmets changed to what you see in the video games now. (;

@psufool Yea trust me Ive look at that possibility from an engineering standpoint & is almost possible. The problem is how to power the suit efficiently while retaining its combat effectiveness. I have toyed around with the possibility of a backpack (armored keep in mind) mounted plasma generator & in theory it could work but wouldn't be as agile as a normal soldier. Also being encased in a massive suit of armor is like painting a shoot me sign on ur self. Also AP anti material rifles = problem

Its not realy the guy inside the suit who mooves it. The suit is equiped with fibro-muscles that help him to move it. The suit is linked to the guys brain and there it reads what he wants to do. Another technical mountain to cross.

My own idea is still only a theory & prototype at best....I was thinking more of a Hydrogen based plasma generator in a back pack unit. To boost power output the generator would be small producing (prototype) around 120 volts for about 4-6 hours. To boost the power im currently working on a (experimental) rotary type Tesla coils to boost the voltage......

Yea, the arms should be about 2.75 cm longer, and the pauldrons should be about 2 1/2 times as large as the head in surface area.

we call them shoulderplates, but we where going to try connecting them to the upperarm (the shoulderplate is already connected to the breastplate)for easier use.

and about how we made them, we are making a "manual".
