i hate this airport. no one is helpful, and they argue with you. you speak their language, and they pretend that they don't understand you. why i may add, i am not a farang, and i speak thai esaan. everything there is so expensive, and they leave the ac on at night when its cold.

Baggage Handling..

I got my baggage after 4 days I arrived Brisbane.

But,the Airport is fantastic..

Staff- They need to employ people who knows how to speak and understand English.

You can marvel at all the architecture of Thailand's temples, but subarnabhumi is equally beautiful. Perfect introduction to the country.

Yeah such a great airport that it was built on a wetland and neighborhoods nearby are still complaining from both noise and damage to their houses from the nearby planes..plus, the runway already has cracks in it from poor design and attempting to build it on top of muddy wetlands.

They said Hong Kong International Airport is the best! And Beijing Terminal 3 is the biggest! Suvarnabhumi is pretty good! i like the design and lightning! But im looking forward to Philippines' New Gateway, the DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT serving Metro Manila. It projected to be one of the largest airports in the world.Serving 110 million pass. annually and design for space shuttle landings (1 of only 3 in the world)...

It would be the busiest airport in Asia-Pacific!

Suvernabhumi airport is a very dangerous airport. Its because the runway is very cracked. And in suvernabhumhi airport there is stickers all around because they wrote something wrong and some many big and small mistakes. Do you want to know this? The company built the suvarnabhumhi airport didnt use all the money from the govermant, but used 70% and used for them in 30%.

Such an amazing airport...The exterior look is an architectural marvel. However, I find the interior rather dull, and it's kind of dark at nights. But still, a fitting airport for a wonderful city.

Hi inukjuak89. The name was chosen by The King Bhumibol. The right pronuntiation is Soo-wanna-poom and forget the "i" at the end. Thai is a very difficult language and has nothing to do with Indian, Bengali or Tamil. Thai is just Thai ;)

I'm a little familiar with things Indian, Bengali and Tamil

so "Suvarnabhum" makes perfect sense to me,

but not the extra letter "i" at the end.

Can someone please explain the "i"?
