My heart breaks for you knowing that you lost Mia so young. I have two italian greyhound/rat terrier mixes, so you can imagine how much I enjoyed this video.
It's kind of strange because I also have an IG and a rat terrier. But they are the exact opposite...kind of. My rat terrier tries to play with my IG...who is much much smaller as a result my IG gets very angry and tres to attack my rat terrier.
she wasn't agressive with either, that is her playing with him.. i was only joking by saying "attacks" and "being mean".. she was my heart.. I miss her so much :( she was quite afraid of people, except me, only liked dogs upon first meeting
Mia passed away on 9/12/09 from an unknown bleeding condition, I lost her on the way to the vet... I am devastated.. she was only 2... sweet little princess Mia.. I miss her so much it hurts
This is cute and it's great they get along so well. For others, remember that Iggies have very delicate legs and can get hurt when playing with other dogs. Other breeds can be more muscular, bigger, bigger paws, etc and this can be too much for the pencil thin legs of the Iggy. I have Iggies and small Min Pins but even some Min Pins wouldn't be good matches with Iggies. You have to be the one to watch out for those delicate legs because Iggies don't know they are fragile.
Somewhere on here I was an iggy out pull a great dane in tug of war. It's a great video if you can find it. They are strong for their size but it's all heart (and determination).

I have an IG and a boxer; my IG plays like that with the boxer, too. They're not vicious at all - and they're such wonderful companions.

IGs are fearless, once my IG attacked a giant mastiff to defend me from it. I'll never forget it.
