That is where we post all of Steve's TV appearances!

  • i tryed it didnt work!!!

  • Awsome

  • Ohhhh yeah, take that stirring rod and put it right down the glass of water. Riiiight down. MMMMMMMFFFFF yeaaahhh

  • Imagine a whole swimming pool of pyrex. there's a ghost swimming!!!

  • isnt that just amazing?..

  • Glycerin and normal glass works better...

  • 0:31 But go ahead, jam another one of those things in there. ;) thats what she said....

  • Party trick, get a broken test tube and drop it in saying, this is magic oil that can fix broken test tubes. If you already have an unbroken test tube in the oil you can pull it out and it will seem as though you put in a broken test tube and the oil made it whole again.

  • Or baby Oil

  • i saw it i swear

  • If u listen closely he tells u how

  • how do you do that ? can i know ? because we have a science project .. :) plz ..

  • Steve Spangler deserves more FAME. :)

  • Nice! I still see it but most is gone! Put ur finger in lol

  • now put yr hand in there

  • I dont not like how those news peeps pretend to be all interested

  • you could just use baby oil

  • if people drank that oil we could be invisible if we did not die

  • that woman is hot

  • How did I get from how to make cake pops to here????

  • You should do a recrystallization video. I bet people will go crazy.....

  • Gonna hide all my Pyrex drugs in there :D thx a lot :D

  • Amazing

  • @dhju8

Where is that phrase come from?? Like, I saw that phrase here in YouTube many times, but I don't really know what it means...???

  • byt will it blend?

  • perfect way to hide a key... made of glass

  • Teacher: where did my 3 beakers go?

  • @SteveSpanglerScience where can i get that helium that you said was 6X heavier than oxygen on the ellen show?

  • ..when it shows a close up of the beaker around 2:10, the reflection of the oil and the printing look like it says "the boss".

  • Do you have any ferrofluid videos?

  • :30 that's what she said

  • Can I do this on my dad's Chevy?

  • wait can it be any cooking oil? cuz i wanted to know X) and i love ur shows

  • wait can it be any cooking oil?

  • @HackHelp101 ROFL

  • Does it only work for a Pyrex glass? Can you just use a glass? Will it still work? OR where do they sell Pyrex glass in stores..............

  • I love this one at 2:41 he says damn

  • Hello what oil is that again???? and VERY COOL VIDEO!

  • Wow! Awesome! Great His so talented..........:)

  • Do this to your simple magic trcik :P

  • Thats sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool.

  • now put scientologists in it

  • man if he is cool thumps up

  • So all we need is vegetable oil, pyrex and those type of glasses?

  • Could you send me an e-mail tutorial for my science fair project? Ill send you my e-mail from a private message on YouTube

  • @FlexThatStick check out our science fair section of our website. We have all of the information you need to help you be successful with your project!

    SteveSpanglerScience . com/content/experiment/00000098

  • @Stevespanglerscience its not on your site!!!!!!!

  • @Stevespanglerscience this is a great science fair project thank you so much you rock man

  • what would happen if you got a huge fish tank filled and you got in would you vanish

  • may u use vegiteble oil

  • The answer is no, this does not work with your ex.

  • i always thought pyrex was a company not a type of glass

  • is pyrex the same as all glass i.e. windows, glasses, lens etc. anybody know by chance??

  • @BitOveRate no. pyrex is a special type of glass

  • I wish he was my science teacher!!

  • doesnt glycerine work just as well wesson oil?

  • it didnt vanish...i saw it...in the glass.....it was hard to see at first ....but then i saw it a little...

  • i make pyrex glass for a living

  • does it have to be exactly with wesson oil and the pyrex glass? or it can be with any tube :S

  • i was expecting him to put the oil in the pirax thingy :(

  • cool

  • Can you put your finger in the oil ?? Will it vanish too .?

  • @1lovechu Sigh! No. No it wont!

  • i wonder

  • i wonder if you can make your finger disappear too please reply thanks

  • i wonder if you can make your finger disappear too plz reply thanks

  • pyrex rod :P

  • what happens if you stir the water and oil together does it change the outcome

  • that is a very impressive demonstration for the simplicity and cost, even to a physics nerd! thumbs up!

  • Lol how invisible men does it XD I'm gonna try to atctually get a pirax ghost and then put him in that oil then boo it's a real ghost toy XD

  • I need a experiment to impress yr(grade).7+ for the science fair...i was thinking id like to make boo bubbles or a Jupiter bubble ( i like bubbles =) ) anyway im not comepletely sure where to get dry ice in australia or how to make a jupiter bubble could you please help me?

  • @victom111 check out our FREE experiment library. We have hundreds of ideas on bubbles. Just go to

    SteveSpanglerScience . com/experiments/

  • @victom111

i was in 7th grade a year ago and i think a cool thing to impress your sevies is to do some expierements with dry ice. they would love that

  • so THATS how the invisible man does it !

  • can you get pyrex from the internet

  • @nintendonerdgoodbad2 I believe they have a website...

    pyrex . com

    Hope this Helps!

  • @Stevespanglerscience can i use vegetable oil insted of wesson oil

  • what kind of oil?

  • @shadowjaagup it's Wesson oil (vegetable oil) and Pyrex glass. Good luck making things disappear!

  • @Stevespanglerscience Does it sell in SteveSpangleSciene Though?;O

  • @shadowjaagup wesson oil :D

  • yes, probably the most cost effective science expo project i've ever scene. you even explained how it works, i saw exploding pin pong balls and exploding egg, but this is the best.

  • plex glass? yup probably

  • can i do this with glycerin too???

  • can you tell me the name of the other liquid because I'm portuguese and that was the only word I couldn't figure out

  • @sweetmeggy It is water and vegetable oil. Wesson brand. Pyrex glass.

  • mr.steve spangler u teach awesome science =]

  • i hope this helps for my science project

  • Cool

  • that is so cool

  • lol can you send me your website that has all those science fair projects? cause mines coming up

  • Sure thing. Just go to

    SteveSpanglerScience . com

and click on the Science Experiments tab at the top. Enjoy!

  • Good way to smuggle diamonds.

  • @imrubberandyoureglue Not unless you can find a liquid with refractive index of ~2.42. Most liquids are below 1.7, and even a few optically dense media get up to 1.8 but are somewhat toxic and remarkably dense (3X water). A liquid with n=2.42 would likely cost an extraordinary figure—assuming such a thing is even physically possible—and in all likelihood have extremely unusual and/or dangerous properties. Not a good way to smuggle anything.

  • Owned.

  • @imrubberandyoureglue they're not pyrex :[

  • @imrubberandyoureglue or illegal drugs!

  • @imrubberandyoureglue diamonds aren't Pyrex ;)

  • @Techible lol i was just about 2 say that...

  • @imrubberandyoureglue you just made my day.

  • @imrubberandyoureglue obviously you didn't get the idea of the video. Diamond has an index of refraction of around 2.4 and pyrex or that oil is about 1.4 Meaning it won't work.

  • @imrubberandyoureglue kool idea :)

  • nice one ^^

    Thanks

  • i saw this on sci-fi science on the science channel, how to become invisible

  • what's the channel name ?

  • i wish that u where my teacher :)

  • you can use glycerin and a tabasco bottle to do this as well.

  • my physics teacher showed us this demo! It's even cooler when you see it up close!

  • Neat! :D

  • cool im gonna go try it right now... :)

  • you can do this with glycerin as well

  • Wow that's really cool!

  • I actually saw a similar demonstration of this in a 1940's Popular Science. They didn't use Wesson OIl but some, probably long-banned chemical. Very cool!

  • awesome

  • That was really cool.
