Thanks you really helped explain the concept of Asian fit much better than the Oakley people do.  I got some of the Necessity glasses in Asian and I'm Caucasian and you are right- the nose fits better. Thanks for helping me find some better glasses!

hmm.. i actually have one flak jacket XLJ, they said online asian fit flak jackets are entirely rest on its nose piece.. i dont know if thats true but either nose piece doesnt fit well as you said in the video when i touches your face.. well it did touch my face either with asian fit nose piece and standard nose piece.. i really like the model tho.. but it gets to my face every single time.. should i get bigger nose piece or what?

@chonySASAKI Its diferent for every model.The ones in this video only differ on the actual shape of the frame, not so much on the nose piece. If anything try using the thicker nose piece.

@caspar37 Yeah, I saw the asian fit gascan this weekend in the downtown Oakley store in Chicago. Try your local O store, I don't think they are available online.

@Leona197 Bro, I literally just called all the oakley stores in NY, CA, WA, TX, and none of them have the gascan's in asian fit. I called 2 places in chi-town area, one in the waterfront mall or something, and another one in aurora or something. The aurora one had it in white. Would you be able to get me the contact info to the place where you saw it at? It would be soooooooooooooooooooooo appreciated and I would be totally grateful.

Excellent video. I've always wondered what the whole deal with Asian Fit was. Finally, somebody posted a video, identifying all the differences.

But like you said, the differences are gonna vary, depending on the model. I noticed all the info on Asian Fit, tends to use the Flak Jacket as the example - or something similar like the ones in this video.

On the other hand, I would love to see some side-by-side comparisons of the more popular models like Gascans, Radars, or Jawbones.

@infamousmonster yeah, it would be kind of hard to get a hold of both standard and asian fit models, but If I come across other models i would definitely be uploading a video. Another thing about asian fit sunglasses is that the stems are rounded. they look identical on the Orokrs that I showed so its one of those things that is going to be more noticeable on some models than others.

great idea for a video, i definitely get the asian fir question quite a bit. Also pretty cool using the O rokr for the video since it gives you the opportunity to showcase another pair of glasses most people don't know Oakley makes.
