Unless they convince the folks at So Shore Plaza to close their doors, this project is one big waste of $. More than a dozen neighborhoods in Quincy regularly flood with 2 or 3 feet of water in ppl's homes 2 or 3 times a year. The streets & sidewalks are crumbling. Special needs kids are shipped to Hull for a school day of 7 am to 5 pm b/c they've closed the local schools.
Quincy needs another Crate & Barrel retail area like it needs another arsehole.
IS there anyonE? who gives a damn about the pedestrians & those who would like to take a pleasant bike ride into the CENTER without putting their life in danger? C'mon!! where are the bike/foot paths 4 people who IN GREAT numbers do NOT have a CAR & DON"T want 1? R you not aware that these people ALSO PAY TAXES into QUINCY's COFFERS? It's outrageous, because bikes DO NOT belong on streets with 4,000 pound vehicles that can crush & kill them from behind & they don't belong on sidewalks either!
