@flyguy2347 they are used because on coasters you have more than 1-2 trains, and the building and transfer track are used to get the trains off the main track and into the maintenance bays

@flyguy2347 If a roller coaster has more than 1 train,then they build a transfer track for the trains not being used or if that train needs to be repaired,I have actually seen them switch trains in real life before,kinda cool.

To those who think this works, remember that he is added CUSTOM SCENERY! Therefore there is no contact points, animation etc. to make this even close to actually working. I think it was a helpful tutorial, so thanks!

i dont know why this is happening... I downloaded gadget coaster goodies like more than four times..... but i just dont see it in the game. I put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum\Style\Themed folder but its not showing up in the game!

There is no reason gfor this to be dumb in every single coaster I went on at cedar point they had a "transfer track" and they never where in action just stagnant which makes this quite realistic

no, you just need to go into program files x86 instead of the normal

with a zip file you have to right click the zip file and press extract all and set the extract location to C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum\Style\Themed (it might be a bit different because I have vista) but with an auto installer it should automatically bring you though the proccess and you shouldn't have to extract to style\themed.

If you have the manual install (the zip file) then I'm not sure but if you have the auto installer you should be able to just run it and it will automatically put it's self in the game.
