  • En esta época no existía la interpretación historicista como hoy día....El barroco se hacía más clasicista, de ahí al posible "vibrato", pero creo que ella no tendría problemas en hacerlo como se hace hoy día, son costumbres y modas.

  • Too vibrato, too romantic...

  • I always prefer baroque sung by a big, sensual, well controlled voice like Lorengar, Sutherland or Caballé.

    THIS is BAROQUE.

    Not baroqueux.

  • Nice voice and good control, but this aria must be sung softly (barroque style).....I think!!!

  • One of my favorite singers. On a minor note, one of the few big-voiced women who doesn't breathe at either 1:10 or 1:50. Brava!

  • Good point about technique. She is great as usual.

  • yes impressive but not what Mr Handel wrote i prefer caballe and te kanawa to be honest for this one
