  • Great Video Dr, really cleared up a lot of questions I had, My Yorkie was Diagnosed with a Mild Level 2, almost Level 1, He never really shows Signs of Pain, and he LOVES going on his walks and running in the grass, actually after he runs he is moving way better. Do you think surgery would be a better solution or not truly necessary?

  • @Jvive3o5 Many dogs live their whole lives without symptoms even with mild conditions. Exercise will strengthen his legs and keep everything lined up. You may to to wait and watch for signs of limping or discomfort before you decide to do surgery. I would make sure he has glucosamine chondroitin supplements or like my dogs do...raw chicken wings twice weekly....really! Google Dog Dish Diet written by Greg Martinez (me)

  • Very informative, thank you! Now I understand why water "running" strengthen my muscles and I avoided knee surgery!
