Mallrats does get a bum wrap. It's not brilliant, but it has plenty of hilarious moments and it's endlessly quotable. What more do people want? plus Kevin had noble intentions - to finance a series of independent films with the profits.

Shame it didn't pan out that way though. Mallrats deserved more, but at least it found an audience on video and dvd.

I laughed so hard during Zack and Miri. Please make more movies. I loved every movie you made. My favorite is an Evening with Kevin Smith. Second is Mallrats.
