  • if it is LASER then is it possible to have fluctuation frequency of the order of GHz?

  • what kind of light is used in it, is it LASER or something else ?

  • Stops working in rain and Fogp this was noted back in 1978. Even high humidy will defract the beam.

  • looks like a speed trap camera :p

  • This would be perfect to give internet connections to neighborhoods.

It can be cheaper than fiberoptic. And I'm sure that we can use quantum cryptography to make sure no one can read our emails.

    Woo Hoo, We are there.

  • @joelito101 Haha! Quantum cryptography! That's a good one!

  • Glad you find it funny, Can you explain? Maybe I can help fill in the gaps in your knowledge.

  • @HeavyMetal1981Fan read up on it, it is here it is real.

  • line of sight makes sense but anything up in space will have a hard time controlling exact placement of the laser. You would have to compensate with a large array of ccd cells which is a waste of money. I feel in urban areas we can use low power cell phones that will transmit to local base stations which will relay the data through laser towers on the tops of buildings... thus low emf levels near your head and a damping of emf noise due to the millions of cell phones in a large city.
