@muso2007 Just use the harmonics and do very precise pull ups on those harmonics, but its best to get a tremolo if you want best results for squeals or dive bombs.

@nathan926greenday Yeah you got to have a distortion or overdrive pedal. Should've gotten a combo amp if you are a beginner. They settings from clean to overdrive. But right now focus on getting a FX Pedal. They do have some places that sell pedals for a price that isn't over a 100 dollars.

My guitar doesn't have a whammy bar... Any alternatives?  I've seen guitarists do squeals very similar without using their whammy bar.

@PIKACHU49386 Try putting three fingers on each fret, doesn't really matter where depending on how high you want it to sound, on the high E string and then at the same time as you pick, push up on the string. Not as loud, but only if you use a wah pedal, you can make it sound like a trem.

@themorgan00 Don't do that, whammy bar is fun for like two seconds, but if you don't buy an expensive guitar you'll have problems with it - a lot of them. You'll find yourself playing your guitar when it's out of tune out of desperation, cause with a cheap bridge it might get out of tune all the time.
