@ahoycaptainrum it sure was, it's up there with Eric Clapton, Nirvana's and REM's unplugged sets, don't think this was ever released unfortunately.

The "Unplugged" sessions of the 1990's were so great. I feel like it is a weird time capsule for so many acts and just the 90's in general. (Nirvana, Alice in Chains,Stone Temple Pilots, 10,000 Maniacs) I personally love the fact that Noel is singing these (his) songs for this performance.

I love Liam and Noel. Saying that, Liam was being an asshole to his band this incident. The good thing about this, however, is we got to hear Noel sing songs he usually never sings.

Live forever being my favorite off this.

If I had a golden ticket to see any show that was ever performed, I'd be hard pressed to find a better choice than to see this show performed again...more so than Woodstock or the Beatles at Shea Stadium. Noel Gallagher's performance was amazing

Remember watching this at the time. Great stuff. And I was always of the opinion that Noel was the talent of the group. Some Oasis songs suited Liam's style, but Noel showed here that Oasis were a top class band without him, and IMO, all their best songs were ones that Noel sang - The Masterplan, DLBIA, etc...

Man what a great upload thanks! I've wanted to see this again for years! I remember watching it all those years ago and remember thinking then, Noel doesn't need Liam! - I far prefer his vocal and style.. and in some case the arrangements here. Now the bands no more, this is a really interesting show to watch, of a great songwriter, in the midst of his creative purple patch, singing his songs for once.. without the BS of his brother. Really great show, thanks!

This is the day when Noel came to my life. I liked Oasis n Liam in particular, he was the face after all. When the show started I was like "Where the heck is Liam?" "Are they kidding me?" I was not going to watch but I was curious about the outcome w/o Liam, After the third song I was already blown away by Noel! I was "Wow! Noel is really good! They don't really need Liam!" ....Noel 4ever!

Back in the day, it cracked me up that they just played on w/o their lead singer --in my opinion, w/o skipping a beat. I think they played regular tour stops w/o Liam too? Probably the only band that could have pulled that off.

I've always thought Oasis should have just kicked Liam out of the band. I always preferred Noel's voice and I think he was the true talent of the group. I look forward to seeing what his solo career holds.

@steveorunner I thought the same thing for years... but now, I can understand it. Liam has an awesome talent for being a ROCK STAR, and I don't say that in a negative way. He is the surly that gave the band some edge. I have no use for the Lennon ripoff that is Beady Eye, but I do love me some High Flying Birds... the best thing that can happen for Oasis is for Liam to grow up and miss his brother bringing the money in, so that they can play together again and make a huge comeback.
