  • I HAVE A BMW SPORT CAR

  • lowrider

  • is it like the bose suspension?

  • @JBqwertyDAWG no its not

  • Did you not notice the last point on the diagnostic equipment? CLOSE ALL DOORS.

Especially when you have one door over a lift arm.

  • i have a 94 q45 that when im done replacing the rear active struts i need the conult tool so i can bleed the air out of the system

  • My 2008 BMW 6 Series is horrible on suspension ....

  • Haha Vehicle Rocks during start-up...0:07 if you get what I'm saying...

  • hey you didn't close the car doors...and the computer even reminded you....it would have sucked it something had happened to the car.

  • @riomljr - Very good point

  • this is to prevent body roll and such ... right ?

dose it make that much of a difference opposed to getting the regular suspension ?

  • hell yeah :^_^: once you drive with it, you'll never go back to traditional suspension setups. the car remains flat through any corner...it's seriously so much smoother and stable. Mercedes has the equivalent, i.e. ABC aka Active Body Control.

  • yes a big difference no body roll in corners, the car leans to equal out body roll........................

  • da krieg ich ja voll den scheisser

  • Is Citroen still putting VCRs in their cars? It used to have a gas oven incase you want to warm up your crossants..

  • u stole my car 5 series :p

  • Ah so I see BMW have caught up with Citroen at long last! Took their time :P

  • They failed. They've already proven that on top gear. German cars will never be French cars (I have both on my driveway ;))

  • Top gear proves shit.

Compare an Mtech suspension to a Citroën cruise suspension.

I wonder wich one will be the stiffest 8)

  • Stolen from Citroën....

  • Except for the fact that Mitsubishi did it 2 years before Citroën

  • I didn't realise that Mitubishi motors was around in the 50's?!

  • Mitsubishi motors was founded in 70 while the citroën suspension introduce in 55.

  • wtf thats awesome! it does look like its trying to transform! haha

  • im not familiar with the bmw suspension. but from what i can tell isn't Mercedes active body control superior to this and all suspensions?

  • I'm prefer the hydractive III+ citroen...

  • I swear, it looked like the poor thing was trying to transform and couldn't quite get off the ground.

  • lol, sure ya do kiddo...

  • dude.. stop dreaming.. wake up buddy!!!

  • i believe him!

    hahahaha jk

  • Hmm, didn't the instruction say "Close car doors" ?

  • That is the first thing I noticed too. I was waiting for the doors to dig into the floor.

  • Since this has turned into a tiresome BMW vs Infiniti slap fight, I think we should all thank Citroën for coming up with hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension on the DS, derivations of which are still produced today, and inventor Julius Lindblom for making the system active, just as you seen in this video, only in the late 1950s.

  • @ThwartedEfforts

and also the first salon with Active roll bar, Xantia ACTIVA, for me is the best, is lither, and you can have better control, than the others.

  • It's the anti roll bars twisting. They're hydraulically operated.

  • I'm a nissan master tech and own an infinity with "sonar suspension". This is only active in the shock valving. There are no actuators acting that can actively move the car.

  • damn after seeing this vid. realize that my infiniti q45a active suspension is "too" reliable, when it started leaking @ 135,000 miles (still function perfectly)... I'll stop whinning the small leak ... now!

  • It is DSC system not active suspension.

  • ARS: Active Roll Stabilization. A Supplimentry system to the DSC.

  • ^WTF Meth are you on? There is no comparison to an Infinity and BMW regardless of year. That being said, no BMW's should have "switches" per say. :)

  • BMW finally catches up to the 1991 Infiniti Q45.

  • a 91 infinty aint go nothing like that

  • Yes it does.

  • YES, they did it was called the Q45a. My cousin had one it was kind of weird driving, when you braked the front end did not hardly drop and the rear has no squat on hard acceleration. Google it douchebag...

  • you need some grammar lessons, malebomb00, or at least take it easy on whatever you're on.

  • Like the proper use of capitalization and commas?

  • @malebomb00 no you need more than that. At least enough so that a reader can understand what you're trying to say.

  • holy cow
