Watch out for Blomberg. Stiffed an entire band (17 musicians) on a gig in NY 6 months ago. If you play a gig with him, the money might go in his pocket...BEWARE!
the fact remains...he STOLE ALL the money from the gig paid by the Cancer Society, put it in his pocket that was supposed to go to the players. Whether some cat played the way he wanted, showed up when he wanted, the fact remains at the end of the day it was a great gig and everyone that PAID to see the show clapped their hands. Isn't that the end result of a show not whether some guy sound checked the way the bandleader wanted. SHAME ON YOU KRUPAFAKE
....there were alot of GOOD players and a GOOD contractor that ALL got stiffed on that gig AND the bandleader got paid by the Cancer Society...took the money and ran so if you donate to the Cancer Society beware...there might be a theif bandleader stealing your donation!
