  • this is so delicious here's a tip add old bay seasoning to the flour instead of paprika it tastes alot better. also use ranch dipping sauce cause that's the bestand lots of hot sauce

  • Thanks for the griled chicken sandwich recipe. I used it at a family BBQ on our visit to Poland a few weeks back. It tasted great along with all the Polish breads and Sausages. Cheers, and happy cooking.

  • @GORINGRANGERS

Glad to hear that. Thanks for sharing!

  • How do you make the vinegar based cayenne pepper sauce?

  • @Bettybcafe

Good question. We buy it and do not make it. The brand we like is Franks Original.

  • CHICKENS DONT FLY THEY DONT NEED WINGS ANYMORE

  • I dont have a frier, what else can i use (do)??

  • @danielmartinex You can also fry in a large cast iron pan.

  • wow Jason this looks good i have not made your bleu cheese dip ill got on it right away i have made your wings though they came out great then again i did forget the paprika and flour

  • What brand of deep fryer was that? It's nice and compact.

  • @badjujuwan

It is a Euro-Pro. It's great for little projects.

  • thanks man.. my wife was making them without the batter!!!..LOL

  • its good to see that your able to type and tell the rest of the world about it.... Poor thing!

  • @xdman09x

    You're welcome. Thanks for commenting!

  • hi chef Jason, how often do you change your deep fryer oil?

  • @LigerZero1985

I filter mine a couple of times before changing it out and then add a little fresh oil each time. I like to keep it fresh as possible, so I usually do a complete change after 8 uses.

  • it's a hot sauce called mild hot or kryptonite

  • great recipe! thanks for sharing J

  • You're welcome. Thanks for commenting!

  • great simple method bro! a lil flour, fry, favrt sauce. perfection! great vid.

  • I am the wing king, I have friends come over just for my wings, the main problem i haven't yet figured out is the good wing sauce they serve at the bar .that sauce is great,,anyone know what they use

  • Hi there. What is the sauce like? Is it the blue cheese dip, or a hot sauce?

  • if you put flour on your wings in buffalo you can go to jail for that seriously ...thats not done

  • @cksteele

Thanks for the warning. I'll be sure not to do that the next time.

  • ha yeah they take there wings pretty serious there heck i was at the anchor bar once and i asked the waitress how come you don't have honey garlic wings and she just laughed and walked away

  • @cksteele

That's a funny story chksteele. Thanks for sharing!

  • hi im irish im a chef also this stuff is for kids did u actually go to catering college jason this is all common sense a 6 year old kid could do this how about teaching proper techniques instead of this crap

  • @nclpb

I have a lot of other videos with techniques. I am going to making a lot more videos in the future. Some will have more involved techniques, and others will be for FUN like this video. I personally think it would be a waste of time to show me fluting a mushroom. Who is going to do that? Where a lot of people will want to make these chicken wings.

    Cheers

  • Fuck you nclpb! Hes awesome and a 6 year old couldent understand this logic!

  • @nclpb can u tell me how to mke the glaze/sauce that comes on the celery sticks when served wings i.e in the elephant an castle

  • @pancholorentay

I have not tried those. Can you describe the glaze/sauce?

  • Chicken wings and Chargers!! Love them both!!

  • i dont like wings made with a frier, i like the ones u know where u cook stuff on theres a door i try to explain im not american

  • Hi Mr.Hill, I have a bit of a challenge 4 u, can u make Tandoori Chicken, Wings, ETC And The Indian Butter Chicken? Id like to see ya do that!

  • @AirCanadaA55555A

I love Indian food. I will have to do some in the near future!

    Thanks,

    Jason

  • Hello again Mr.Chef, Well you like flight meals? Take Singapore Airlines, I think you might be interested in their food!

  • Two questions: 1:Do you fry the wings again, after you poured the saus over it? Or leave it soaked in the saus??

2: Isn't it easier to soak your wings with stirred eggs so the flour sticks more to the meat?

  • no you dont fry them again and you can use an egg mixture but the idea is not to have a batter on it. you want the skin to be crispy.

  • Dose Bacon grease work?

  • OMG! thank you soo much! me and my fiance were lost as to how to make these! we watched your video and the results were AMAZING!! Thank you for showing us how to make them!!! They were very Yummyyy! <3

  • So great to hear you enjoyed these! I really appreciate your feedback. Jason

  • 2 questions, 1) If you dont want to flour them (Real traditional Buffalo way is NOT floured) then do you still need to salt and pepper them BEFORE deep fry? and 2) I thought Franks Red hot sauce is what they mix with butter in a skillet pan (so they sauce "soaks" INTO the wings)??

  • You are right, this is not the real traditional Buffalo way. You can season the wings before you you cook them.

  • Ill be Chipotle Tabasco would be really good too!

  • I have tried this and it is awesome the only thing i do different is put cayenne pepper to my flour instead of paprika just because i need lots of heat but good recipe. Thanks : )

  • Thanks! We love cayenne pepper, so that sounds like a great adaptation for this recipe!

  • Hey Jason, would Crystal pepper sauce would good with it. Thanks

  • Hey Crazydog500.

I personally like Crystal pepper sauce. However, I have not used it to make my wings. I am sure it will taste fine. Give it a try and let us know how they turned out!

  • Hey Jason thanks for the reply, i tryed it last night and yum yum it was really good thanks to you, Crstal Pepper Sauce is great with it.

  • Good to know the Crystal pepper sauce worked for you. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Cheers, Jason

  • Hey, I used Crystal and I liked it. Really good recipe!!!

  • @MAL2BASIC

Crystal rules! Thanks for your comment!

  • ill try this when i can

  • Enjoy!

  • Now I'm hungry.... Yum...

  • mmmmm Looks yummy!

  • i like to fry my wings in peanut oil

  • wats cyenne pepper sauce and where can you get it

  • Most major supermarkets carry it here in the U.S. Frank's Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce is the most common.

  • What if i dont have the sauce, what else can i use??

  • I don't know. I would wait until you can buy some sauce for this.

  • Nevermind, I made a sauce.

  • Or do what i did: just use a big heavy pot with a fry thermometer. its way cheaper and just as effective

  • Great tip! Thanks chrisfitz6!

    Jason

  • GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great! thanks alot =)

  • You're welcome! =)

  • douchebag? the guy is going out of his way to show you how to make a good snack! grow up muppet!

    good food chef

  • Thanks for the support junoonuj!

  • chicken wings, best food.. ever.

  • Some people say you shouldn't flour the wings because after dumping them in the sauce, the once crispy flour on the wings will turn pasty. Is that true?

  • Not if you serve them right away. If the wings sit around, they will lose the crispy texture.

  • if the guy wasnt such a douchebag, it would have been a great video.

  • Thanks!

  • hahah

  • I am so going to make these soon great recipe thanx!!!!!

  • what is vinegar base cayenne pepper sauce? i can't find it here, any other regular sauce to replace that i can find here in norway?

  • A lot of hot sauces use vinegar as a base and different peppers are used to add flavor. We use Franks Original Hot Sauce. It uses cayenne peppers. If you can't find it locally, see if you can find Franks on the internet and have it shipped to you. Hope this helps. Thanks for commenting.

  • tobasco have vinegar too in it, can i use that?

  • Even though tabasco has vinegar in it, I don't think it uses cayenne pepper.

  • That sauce is amazing! Thanks a lot for the recipe :)

  • You are welcome. Thanks! Jason

  • I made these for my husband on Super Bowl Sunday - he loved them so much I'm making him more tonight! Do yourself a HUGE favor and try these - they are 100 times better than store bought or restaurant - you won't be sorry! Try the homemade dip too. I can't wait to have them again!

  • no puedo ver los videos!!

  • You can easily season your wings with the flour mix, place them on a sheet pan and bake them in the oven. After they are baked, you can toss them in the warm hot sauce mix.

    Enjoy!

  • That made me hungry!

  • Try the recipe! =]

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

I need to try this sometime, but where do u get the chickens at?

  • What's up dickheadedbastard! =]

For home, I buy my wings at Costco. Best price, and great quality.

    Thanks for commenting!

  • i'm just starting to work on some of my own wings recipes, (I'm going to try the baked route) but i came here to get the quick briefing and refresher. Thanks chef Jason. You rock.

  • Thanks Rob!

I just saw FoodWishes got a wing recipe featured. He did a baked version that looks AWESOME!

  • my dad makes tha dankest wings ever!!!

  • Hmm, did you make some of these songs with Garageband?

  • No. I am currently taking classes for garageband. I am getting bored with the free play music that comes with imovie.

    Cheers,

    Jason

  • I do basically the same recipe, but I dip the wings/chicken in beaten eggs before I dip them in flour, and then into the hot sauce mix. It makes everything stick better, or at least that is my thinking (I'd like to hear your opinion on this). Also, Franks is delicious, but I am a spicy boy, and so I tend to use habenero based sauce. Sometimes not so much since my girlfriend can't take the heat like me. Anyway, great vid. A hearty thank you, and looking to more nice videos.

    Myco

  • Sounds good Myco! I personally love habanero based sauces. I'll have to try it with my wings. Thanks for commenting.

  • hej man love the video, really well made and easy to understand, just one question: could i make the cayenne pepper sauce myself? do you know how? because their not that easy to get here in switzerland

    thank you

  • Hi looptuber. Sorry, but I have never made a home made cayenne pepper sauce. I should try to do that one day. =]

Can you order hot sauce on the internet? If so, order "Franks Original" for this recipe.

    Cheers,

    Jason

  • I always wanted to try hot wings! I always saw them on tv but here in Argentina we dont have those so now thanks to your video Im gonna try them! Thanks a lot!

  • How fun. I hope you enjoy these. Have any good recipes you'd like to share from Argentina? Thanks for commenting! Jason

  • is it ok if we use another kind of pepper sauce instead of cayenne? or does it have to be cayenne?

  • I like to use Franks Original hot sauce. It is a cayenne pepper sauce. It would be fine to use another type of pepper sauce. Thanks for your question and let us know what you try!

  • stop makin me hungry :(
