@Stranger2oo The fact God loves you no matter what. Yes, if you continue to deny and reject His son, the Bible says you will go to Hell(truth). But God is not just gonna let you go there w/o a fight! He wants all of His kids to run into His arms, the Bible is nothing more than a lovesick father after His kids( Luke 14, John 3:16) There is nothing you can do make God love you more or less than He does right now! Even if you reject Him He still loves you, even if you murder someone, He loves. You can't disappoint Him b/c he knows you, all of you, even the parts u want to keep hidden. @Stranger2oo I think you might be experiencing spiritual pride..Jesus only asked for your life and authority over it, He gave His so you might have abundant life in Him, if HE is truly in your heart, Where is the grace for @Razzleberri and her feelings. Hear her out, don't judge her statements through a filter of pride. Her words should offend you if He is in your heart, Jesus was never offended He was loving,dangerous,giving of Grace and mercy. God is perusing after u and her right now.
@Sarah860811 God is pursuing me? God need not do such a thing. I am saved and I pursue Him. He is my leader, and I am nothing. He pursued me when He died on the cross. It is done. If you love Him for that, then you submit to God's will. If you deny or reject Him because something tell you otherwise, then you will burn in hell. You try loving someone unconditionally, give your life for them and if they reject you, if they despise you, and murder you for it, then you do deserve hell.

If God didn't love you then you would not be capable of loving him back. So, Yes, God pursues YOU. BY NAME. He created all things. ALL THINGS. He even gave you faith to believe! Grew up listening to Third Day. I am absolutely fallen in love with Mac Powell's voice. I no longer adhere to the religion he sings for, but I am still willing to listen to these songs just to here Mac's voice.
I saw third day live at Wild Adventures. it was amazing to see all the people closing their eyes, singing along, and holding their hands in the air. The best part was that non christians went to check it out and had their lives changed. I love God!

Please look up these verses in the kjv translation, they changed my life and made me a person actually worthy of the grace and mercy of God instead of the judgement and damnation. (no man or women is worthy of His salvation but I received it graciously and now want to share it with you...jus to be clear on that fact)
This video is so awesome............God is all about mercy. Noah took 100 yrs to build the ark. Some say a little less. It doesn't matter. The point of the matter is that God is merciful. He saved the thief at the last hour. Like it is now...........this is the last hour. Many believe that God closed the door on the ark on the seventh day. Not here to argue details. The point of the matter is that the "thief" caught the boat in time. God loves his children. Pray for mercy for we all fall short.

Thank you for sharing the video & your testimony. The same God that loves allows all of us to make the choice to decide to believe or not. It's not His job to force you to love Him. He even went to the point of creating a place for those who would freely choose to disobey Him & not love Him. If He didn't do that, He wouldn't be fair or just when judgement has to be meeted out. God created us in His image...not us creating a god in the image we desire. I pray you find the answers you need.

Razzle, I understand what you mean by not wanting to believe in a God that sends people into eternal damnation. It does sound cruel but you have to look at God as though he is your father. Parents sometimes do things that may upset their child, such as punishing them, yet does that make them a bad parent? In all honesty, that makes them a good parent. God is the same way; the Bible even states that he is our Heavenly Father. If you take it from this perspective it might help a little :)

Hey Razzle! I understand your situation completely, but don't give up. Keep looking. Stay away from universalism and stick to the Word. All of it. Even the ones that they don't put in the Bible anymore. Read the apocrypha or try Enoch or Jasher. And if you have any questions, feel free to msg me, and I will answer the best as I can. I am self taught Christian(non-denominational). Your story reminds me of a song by Steve Taylor sang called, "Harder to Believe Then Not To." from the 80's.
to be a christian isnt just going to church and living right. it is much more it is beliving on the Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST as our Saviour and that the BLOOD JESUS CHRIST shed on the CROSS was to cover our sin. Not beliving on the only son of God is not trusting God so someone who is not saved under the Blood of Jesus. You see God has always commanded a sacrafice since Adams sin in the Garden. So please ask God to see if you have true salvation because you dont quit GOD if you are saved!

@afjesusfreak To be quite honest, I don't believe that God can be fully captured or explained. To me, that's what makes the difference between humanity and divinity - because we cannot fully comprehend God. I believe there are facets of truth in every religious and spiritual realm, but I don't think that we can delineate the absolute truth of God. And I do not know for sure that I am right, I have never claimed to be, but that's currently what I feel in my heart, soul and mind. :)
@RazzleBerri The bible make it clear that the wisdom of Man is Foolishness to God and the heart of man is desperately wicked, so if you are hoping to understand God by what you feel in your heart, that can't work. God is holy and you cannot understand him with what you feel.
@stepouttime Yet we, as Christians, say "Let God into your heart." True the "heart of man is desperately wicked," but that is a heart WITHOUT God. The Gospels are held in high esteem, are they not? Yet Luke (1:1-4) tells Theophilus that he can trust him because he "investigated everything from the very first" (HCSB). Luke "checked out" the story he was told to verify it as truth. He doesn't say he was told about Jesus and just believed the story.---

The idea that a sinner can grasp God with flesh is impossible, not until he humbles himself and surrenders and is given the revelation of the Holy Spirit. God cannot be understood my the standards of the world. He is sovereign, so the rules that that apply to us, don't apply to him. Who can question Jehovah?
@stepouttime No one, that I am aware of, has "come to know Jesus" from being scorned by a Christian. In fact, it is judgement that turns most people away from Him. We have to choose our words from Jesus's standpoint, not our own. He did judge, but he was most qualified to do that. But He judged those with hardened hearts, not the "seekers," or the outcasts. We need to do the same. Pray for those who have been hurt, not judge and cast them further into the pit. ~Love you stepouttime.
@trenchsermons Pointing out the iniquity of man and scorn are two different things. Jesus Christ pointed out the iniquity of the World but he did it with love. What the Church lacks is LOVE. 1 Cor 13 paints a clear picture of who we as Christians are suppose to be. The only reason to tell anyone about Christ is because you love them and you want them saved. Any other reason is motivated by flesh. :D

There is a way to deal with one who is "mature enough for bread" and then again, a softer more basic way to deal with those who are still "babes suckling the nourishment of milk". to razzleberri : God is love and mercy but He is also justice and judgement. we humans do not know how terrible and awful sin is. jesus satisfies both justice and mercy for HE died and bore the punishment as the sinless Son of God. every human being has sinned and all who die without accepting christ basically is saying 1. there is no god to whom i am accountable to. or 2. i can atone for my own sins. once a person dies his eternal nature is set and so is judgement. heaven and hell are real
We know that God loves us because he robed himself in flesh, and the flesh died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins so that we could eventually get to Heaven. I know everyone says that, but just THINK about it for a minute! I recently got a revelation about it, and it just hit me for the first time how much He actually DOES love His creation. It's not selfish to think that He does--there's evidence!!
The only reason hell was even made for Satan was because Satan thought that he was better than God, basically.

Mankind were not 'created' to be 'fallen/ or to have a sin nature. God, as some people think- should just be able to 'over rule' the stuff the devil has done, and just kill him/ etc, etc [saying, well- isn't He God, so He should be able to do what ever He wants]. Well, yes- He is the very one that created the universe and everything in it/ including us! but- His throne and nature is based on Righteousness, Holiness, and Justice. He cannot just over rule, something/ if it breaches His nature.

Great video. Regarding your post, you miss the biggest point of Christianity. God wants ALL of us to spend eternity in heaven. All we have to do is admit we cannot do it on our own and rely on Christ. Some people choose NOT to rely on Christ and reject God. Why would they want to spend eternity in heaven with God with they do not want to have a relationship with God while on earth? God simply allows us to make that choice.

@ShattudDreams That's a good quote. It's not completely Scriptural though because it leaves some knots untied. Should a guy pursue God? Yes, Absolutely. And this quote I know is with good intention. However, we will never be perfect on this earth. I'm NOT saying that we should be unwise, but I am saying that we should not weigh our choice to date/court someone based on our merit with God. Jesus has perfect merit with God and that merit is credited to anyone who believes.
@ShattudDreams Basically what I'm saying is that if you are a single guy or girl who loves the Lord and you are pursuing Him (not to earn, but to grow in godliness) then don't wait until you're "perfect" to start a dating/courtship with someone who is doing the same.
You need to belive in this to make it true. But i think instead that only at the end the choice we make really matters. Becouse what we do now is a very fast change of principles, faith and ideologies. From which is hard to understand what's right and what's wrong.
RazzleBerri, I have often questioned my faith and God's temperament. Space is so limited here. Two books may help you understand our Father's truly loving, patience even when it seems He is spiteful. Pilgrim's Progress and The Message Bible. Christ said He and the Father are one, so If you do believe Christ is loving, so is our Father. He always gave ample instruction and warning before consequences were meted out. Our own pride prevents reconciliation and obedience. God longs for you, too.

When Jesus died one of His last words was telestite(sp?) meaning "it is finished" or in other words there is nothing left to be done to buy our salvation. We can't do anything but accept His free gift and I assert that if we try to add to His completed work we just might lose out.
To the best of my readings God did not create hell for us. He created everything to be loved and worshiped including Angels. When Lucifer left he create Hell as a place for him and his angels. Us, we were supposed to spend eternity with God. When we chose to sin like Lucifer did then we fall to the same result... which is Hell. God didn't want this and that's why Jesus died sinless taking our place. God didn't create Hell for us but for sin, he sent Jesus to keep us out of Hell. Hope that helps.
just because you can't see the end doesn't mean that you had nothing to do with how you got there. People always try to play the "I'm not really in control" card when talking about god. Just the fact that you are voicing that as your opinion is proof that you are wrong. otherwise you would be mindlessly serving him. God exists outside of time. Time is something that we have to help give our finite existence a chronological order. Cuz God can see the end doesn't mean he picked it for you.
Everyone has a time coming, "for it is appointed to man once to die and then the judgement" No one escapes this physical death. Reach out and accept what Jesus did for you on that cross before it's too late!
Rachel, What I do not understand is how someone can say that they believe in some of what God says in His Word but then have problems with certain parts of it. The Word totally from God and we do not have the right to tell God what we will accept and wont accept from His Word.
God created us, and He knows what is best for us to live happy lives, and most seem to think they know better than God. He gives us that choice.

I was watching this video and it came to me by the Holy Spirit ( because only the Holy Spirit will reveal truth) that little children have the perfect sense of love. As a child we look at our parents with such a love that can only come from God. We only know a love that surpasses all other loves that are in this world. That is why Jesus said in order to come to me you have to come to him as a little child. Only when we can come to him with the love of a little child can we be more like him
well to help you understand the whole thing about hell, Razzle berri, all creation, angels, animals, plants... all living things spirtiual and "natural" have choice. satan had the choice to do what he did, just as we have and still have choices to make. it was satan's choice to defy God. satan was wanting to overthrow God. This is a beautiful slideshow, and a very powerful song. And you're entirely right; we certainly don't deserve any kind of salvation. And it's not fair. But think of how awful of a world this would be if everyone got exactly what they deserve. While it is viewed so commonly as a purity and a virtue, justice really is an ugly creature. And I don't know why there is suffering. I won't pretend to. But I have to believe that beauty and good come from it. And forgiveness. And grace.

There are CHRISTIANS that do not believe in hell. I am one. Jesus said "if the son of man is lifted up, He will draw ALL men to himself." ALL It all hinges on God's will, not our limited "free" will and HE IS FOR US. His amazing grace will open all hearts! Death of the physical body doesn't mean death of the soul.
Evil exists so hell exists. To say it's unfortunate is saying too little. God is forgiving, but there has to be a repentance for there to be forgiveness. Can someone truly be forgiven if they never acknowledge their wrongs? If that was so, I could murder someone right now and never be held accountable. Forgiveness exists, but justice has to exist too.

Even if you reject Him He still loves you, even if you murder someone, He loves. You can't disappoint Him b/c he knows you, all of you, even the parts u want to keep hidden. Can you think of the moment you first encountered Jesus, the cross? what did yo u feel at that moment? Are u still feeling it? GRACE means we don't get what we deserve. @Sarah860811 God is pursuing me? God need not do such a thing. I am saved and I pursue Him. He is my leader, and I am nothing. He pursued me when He died on the cross. It is done. If you love Him for that, then you submit to God's will. If you deny or reject Him because something tell you otherwise, then you will burn in hell. You try loving someone unconditionally, give your life for them and if they reject you, if they despise you, and murder you for it, then you do deserve hell.

I saw third day live at Wild Adventures. it was amazing to see all the people closing their eyes, singing along, and holding their hands in the air. The best part was that non christians went to check it out and had their lives changed. I love God!

This video is so awesome............God is all about mercy. Noah took 100 yrs to build the ark. Some say a little less. It doesn't matter. The point of the matter is that God is merciful. He saved the thief at the last hour. Like it is now...........this is the last hour. Many believe that God closed the door on the ark on the seventh day. Not here to argue details. The point of the matter is that the "thief" caught the boat in time. God loves his children. Pray for mercy for we all fall short.

Thank you for sharing the video & your testimony. The same God that loves allows all of us to make the choice to decide to believe or not. It's not His job to force you to love Him. He even went to the point of creating a place for those who would freely choose to disobey Him & not love Him. If He didn't do that, He wouldn't be fair or just when judgement has to be meeted out. God created us in His image...not us creating a god in the image we desire. I pray you find the answers you need.

Razzle, I understand what you mean by not wanting to believe in a God that sends people into eternal damnation. It does sound cruel but you have to look at God as though he is your father. Parents sometimes do things that may upset their child, such as punishing them, yet does that make them a bad parent? In all honesty, that makes them a good parent. God is the same way; the Bible even states that he is our Heavenly Father. If you take it from this perspective it might help a little :)

Hey Razzle! I understand your situation completely, but don't give up. Keep looking. Stay away from universalism and stick to the Word. All of it. Even the ones that they don't put in the Bible anymore. Read the apocrypha or try Enoch or Jasher. And if you have any questions, feel free to msg me, and I will answer the best as I can. I am self taught Christian(non-denominational). Your story reminds me of a song by Steve Taylor sang called, "Harder to Believe Then Not To." from the 80's.

to be a christian isnt just going to church and living right. it is much more it is beliving on the Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST as our Saviour and that the BLOOD JESUS CHRIST shed on the CROSS was to cover our sin. Not beliving on the only son of God is not trusting God so someone who is not saved under the Blood of Jesus. You see God has always commanded a sacrafice since Adams sin in the Garden. @afjesusfreak To be quite honest, I don't believe that God can be fully captured or explained. To me, that's what makes the difference between humanity and divinity - because we cannot fully comprehend God. I believe there are facets of truth in every religious and spiritual realm, but I don't think that we can delineate the absolute truth of God. And I do not know for sure that I am right, I have never claimed to be, but that's currently what I feel in my heart, soul and mind. :)

Yet Luke (1:1-4) tells Theophilus that he can trust him because he "investigated everything from the very first" (HCSB). Luke "checked out" the story he was told to verify it as truth. He doesn't say he was told about Jesus and just believed the story.---

The idea that a sinner can grasp God with flesh is impossible, not until he humbles himself and surrenders and is given the revelation of the Holy Spirit. God cannot be understood my the standards of the world. He is sovereign, so the rules that that apply to us, don't apply to him. Who can question Jehovah?

@stepouttime No one, that I am aware of, has "come to know Jesus" from being scorned by a Christian. In fact, it is judgement that turns most people away from Him. We have to choose our words from Jesus's standpoint, not our own. He did judge, but he was most qualified to do that. But He judged those with hardened hearts, not the "seekers," or the outcasts. We need to do the same. Pray for those who have been hurt, not judge and cast them further into the pit. ~Love you stepouttime.

@trenchsermons Pointing out the iniquity of man and scorn are two different things. Jesus Christ pointed out the iniquity of the World but he did it with love. What the Church lacks is LOVE. 1 Cor 13 paints a clear picture of who we as Christians are suppose to be. The only reason to tell anyone about Christ is because you love them and you want them saved. Any other reason is motivated by flesh. :D

There is a way to deal with one who is "mature enough for bread" and then again, a softer more basic way to deal with those who are still "babes suckling the nourishment of milk". to razzleberri : God is love and mercy but He is also justice and judgement. we humans do not know how terrible and awful sin is. jesus satisfies both justice and mercy for HE died and bore the punishment as the sinless Son of God. every human being has sinned and all who die without accepting christ basically is saying 1. there is no god to whom i am accountable to. or 2. i can atone for my own sins. once a person dies his eternal nature is set and so is judgement. heaven and hell are real

We know that God loves us because he robed himself in flesh, and the flesh died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins so that we could eventually get to Heaven. I know everyone says that, but just THINK about it for a minute! I recently got a revelation about it, and it just hit me for the first time how much He actually DOES love His creation. It's not selfish to think that He does--there's evidence!!

Hi there! I don't know why God made 'man', because He knew when He was forming 'Adam' in the garden of Eden, what would happen/ how it would turn out [with the serpent, deceiving Eve, to eat the forbidden fruit, and give it to Adam, who knowing it was wrong, ate any way- the result- mankind came in under a corrupt government~ being 'disconnected from God- and being 'focused on his own 'righteousness [having an awareness of what is good and what is 'evil'- of which satan became 'the overseer of].

Mankind were not 'created' to be 'fallen/ or to have a sin nature. God, as some people think- should just be able to 'over rule' the stuff the devil has done, and just kill him/ etc, etc [saying, well- isn't He God, so He should be able to do what ever He wants]. Well, yes- He is the very one that created the universe and everything in it/ including us! but- His throne and nature is based on Righteousness, Holiness, and Justice. He cannot just over rule, something/ if it breaches His nature.

Great video. Regarding your post, you miss the biggest point of Christianity. God wants ALL of us to spend eternity in heaven. All we have to do is admit we cannot do it on our own and rely on Christ. Some people choose NOT to rely on Christ and reject God. Why would they want to spend eternity in heaven with God with they do not want to have a relationship with God while on earth? God simply allows us to make that choice.

well they're both sold side by side at christmas, two fluffy little fantasies to make people feel good. most of the traditional nativity story is rubbish anyway. particularly that christ was born at christmas. tell your child one lie and it's not unexpected for them to make the assumption that so is the other one.

@elenore9 - lets see... what is the root word for CHRIST-mas? Do I really need to say more? Santa clause was created by Lucifer to counterfeit the birth of the savior of all creation. All you have to do is refuse to believe in what Jesus did and satan wins. Only one man was born to this earth and changed the coarse of time(from B.C. to A.D.) and impacted history in every religion. Ask the muslims.

just so you know no beliver did anything rightous to "get into heaven". jesus did it all. He gave His life for our sin because God can not look upon sin. God may have wrath and judgement but that is only because people denied his son and that is the only reason they are in hell. yes God is a God of wrath and judgement but his is also a God full of unconditional love if you would just accept it. and christianity is not a religion it's a relationship with Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior. :)

@ShattudDreams That's a good quote. It's not completely Scriptural though because it leaves some knots untied. Should a guy pursue God? Yes, Absolutely. And this quote I know is with good intention. However, we will never be perfect on this earth. I'm NOT saying that we should be unwise, but I am saying that we should not weigh our choice to date/court someone based on our merit with God. Jesus has perfect merit with God and that merit is credited to anyone who believes.

@ShattudDreams Basically what I'm saying is that if you are a single guy or girl who loves the Lord and you are pursuing Him (not to earn, but to grow in godliness) then don't wait until you're "perfect" to start a dating/courtship with someone who is doing the same.

You need to belive in this to make it true. But i think instead that only at the end the choice we make really matters. Becouse what we do now is a very fast change of principles, faith and ideologies. From which is hard to understand what's right and what's wrong.

RazzleBerri, I have often questioned my faith and God's temperament. Space is so limited here. Two books may help you understand our Father's truly loving, patience even when it seems He is spiteful. Pilgrim's Progress and The Message Bible. Christ said He and the Father are one, so If you do believe Christ is loving, so is our Father. He always gave ample instruction and warning before consequences were meted out. Our own pride prevents reconciliation and obedience. God longs for you, too.

When Jesus died one of His last words was telestite(sp?) meaning "it is finished" or in other words there is nothing left to be done to buy our salvation. We can't do anything but accept His free gift and I assert that if we try to add to His completed work we just might lose out.

To the best of my readings God did not create hell for us. He created everything to be loved and worshiped including Angels. When Lucifer left he create Hell as a place for him and his angels. Us, we were supposed to spend eternity with God. When we chose to sin like Lucifer did then we fall to the same result... which is Hell. God didn't want this and that's why Jesus died sinless taking our place. God didn't create Hell for us but for sin, he sent Jesus to keep us out of Hell. Hope that helps.

just because you can't see the end doesn't mean that you had nothing to do with how you got there. People always try to play the "I'm not really in control" card when talking about god. Just the fact that you are voicing that as your opinion is proof that you are wrong. otherwise you would be mindlessly serving him. God exists outside of time. Time is something that we have to help give our finite existence a chronological order. Cuz God can see the end doesn't mean he picked it for you.

Rachel, What I do not understand is how someone can say that they believe in some of what God says in His Word but then have problems with certain parts of it. The Word totally from God and we do not have the right to tell God what we will accept and wont accept from His Word.
God created us, and He knows what is best for us to live happy lives, and most seem to think they know better than God. He gives us that choice.

I was watching this video and it came to me by the Holy Spirit ( because only the Holy Spirit will reveal truth) that little children have the perfect sense of love. As a child we look at our parents with such a love that can only come from God. We only know a love that surpasses all other loves that are in this world. That is why Jesus said in order to come to me you have to come to him as a little child. Only when we can come to him with the love of a little child can we be more like him

well to help you understand the whole thing about hell, Razzle berri, all creation, angels, animals, plants... all living things spirtiual and "natural" have choice. satan had the choice to do what he did, just as we have and still have choices to make. it was satan's choice to defy God. satan was wanting to overthrow God. This is a beautiful slideshow, and a very powerful song. And you're entirely right; we certainly don't deserve any kind of salvation. And it's not fair. But think of how awful of a world this would be if everyone got exactly what they deserve. While it is viewed so commonly as a purity and a virtue, justice really is an ugly creature. And I don't know why there is suffering. I won't pretend to. But I have to believe that beauty and good come from it. And forgiveness. And grace.

I guess I should make it clearer that I believe there is a hell, but it's not eternal! And I will also add "I don't know" as many Christians will NEVER admit to that.

@ErosPoop (not sure if I am replying correctly) Well, they may be atheists at some point, but they will be given grace over and over until they "see." Just as I have. (faith itself is a gift from God-eph 2) So, actually, they won't be atheists any more. The idea of "accepting Christ" as being the end all is simply an illusion of "works." As in "i was smart enough to accept Christ, you weren't."

There are CHRISTIANS that do not believe in hell. I am one. Jesus said "if the son of man is lifted up, He will draw ALL men to himself." ALL It all hinges on God's will, not our limited "free" will and HE IS FOR US. His amazing grace will open all hearts! Death of the physical body doesn't mean death of the soul.

Evil exists so hell exists. To say it's unfortunate is saying too little. God is forgiving, but there has to be a repentance for there to be forgiveness. Can someone truly be forgiven if they never acknowledge their wrongs? If that was so, I could murder someone right now and never be held accountable. Forgiveness exists, but justice has to exist too.

Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey-whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness?
